Aww sad times friend. Sorry for your lost. I'm definitely a dog person myself. But losing a pet is rough. If you have that bond that most of us create. It's like losing a family member, sometimes worse lol.

Take solace in all the good times you had. Sounds like you guys were in it through the thick and thin. Happy he helped you. I know it might take a bit... But don't be afraid to get another one. Sometimes we need pets more than we even know.
