disabling 'where' for clanned seanchan
Re: disabling 'where' for clanned seanchan
I'd like to chime in here there was a LOT of misinformation about Xin - and also his habit of leading people on REALLY pisses some people off, and leads to a tide of opinion against him.
He's been no more of a dick than any of the successful sameside stabbers. Including on stabbing me.
When it boils down to it. The SS pkers who are worth their salt target decent targets. There is no challenge or fun beating down a level 20 uneqd newb.
Once that newb starts blocking a gate. It'll die.
The SS pkers (and all the others) who target lowbies and easy targets. Will. Still. Target. Easy. Targets.
With or without where.
They'll just be on unknown murderer alts.
and it'll just devolve to worse than it is now.
Seriously dude, you've got it easy.

But they don't? I don't know if you just haven't noticed, or if you're keeping hold of your old biases, but there's been a lot of rebranding going on internal to seanside since the merger. And, certainly I don't advocate purple trollocism, nor does it happen any time I play with my seanchan friends.Kerryk wrote:when it boils down to it Seanchan are not trollocs so stop eating every human you guys come across
Re: disabling 'where' for clanned seanchan
Thats awesome, I'm a fan. My last unknown, unclanned interaction with a Seanchn (Xin) was not the case, was killed without so much as a strange gesticulation.
Re: disabling 'where' for clanned seanchan
If you are not wanted by the seanchan empire, nor doing anything against the seanchan empire, feel free to mail the deathwatch, or tso if there is no deathwatch clan group to mail.
otherwise i have to agree with tso, seanchan do not seem to do this indiscriminate killing of lowbies that i have seen

excellent that is a step in the right direction for sure. so you ans seemingly deathwatch and cosmo are going to take accountibility for the rest of the seanchan? anyone else wanna step up to help police it?
Re: disabling 'where' for clanned seanchan
The deathwatch are the seanchan police. Quit being so negative.
Re: disabling 'where' for clanned seanchan
did you even bother to read the thread or just decide to chime in for fun?Terri wrote:The deathwatch are the seanchan police. Quit being so negative.
just because they say theyll police it really doesnt cut it on WOTmud. there needs to be a defined policy for all to see in TOE and who to contact.
Re: disabling 'where' for clanned seanchan
I think if you had read the books and had any appreciation for RP you would already know who the Deathwatch are and what their role is. The Deathwatch are the police.
The argument that there is no clear person to complain to is completely flawed. Additionally, there are any number of other people to complain to such as Dheth, Sevas and myself who are all active and run the other clans.
What we've all been saying is nothing has happened or we would know about it. If you don't want to swear the Oaths on your character and you're not wanted/clanned you are still an Oathbreaker and that makes you an enemy. If you want to swear the Oaths then come let us know.
The argument that SS do not adhere a stricter line of RP is also complete bullshit.
SS has always had the MOST strict RP in the game and it is all completely self policed and enforced by players. We do not tolerate anyone disregarding their RP or position within SS. We are perhaps even more strict about RP than the White Tower or any other clan/side. I would even go as far to say that part of the reason the Imperial Army became an implemented clan from a PRC was their RP and organisation was just so good.
As an example of us self policing, in recent times a certain clanned SS decided to run around incog pretending they were no longer a Seanchan to get pardons from everyone. We warranted them and called on staff to declan them. There was some back and forth over it of course but it was all driven and enforced by the players.
I'd like to see the Companions or any other clan display any kind of substance to their actions beyond the "I don't like this player so I'm going to just warrant and try kill them mid DS PK" attitude that I have become so familiar with. Not to mention how many times the Companions tried to go to war with *oL over absolutely nothing. Then there's this idea we're suppose to not kill anyone but every other LS clan in the game can spam warrant and kill us anyway even if we're not clanned but just SS sworn. Like come on people, grow up. You're all bigger wankers than any of us could ever actively manage to be.
We are enemies. We will kill you. You will try kill us too. That's the game. Don't throw rocks from your glass houses.
