I don't mind Gibraltar. I find the dome shield really useful for me since my positioning sucks. So when I get in trouble i just throw out the dome shield and whip out the peacekeeper.
But yea I have played nearly every other battle royale game and this one is by far the most fun and most polished game.
The best part is just how quick the games are. I can even afk through the character select and return after someone manages the glide to the ground for me lol.
Really loving it and cannot wait for the battle pass to be released.

Find the "If it's free, I don't want to play it" sentiment interesting. It's F2P, not P2W, but to each their own. I certainly wouldn't have paid $40 for this after just watching gameplay of it, but being able to easily try it out hooked me.

WoTMUD is not F2P, just free. Or shall we implement some heron microtransactions? I'm sure Apex is fun, but F2P games are a cancer IMO and I don't play them on principle. Maybe that makes me old and crotchety, but oh well

Heron microtransactions would be pay 2 win.
There's a difference. While I agree p2w is stupid and loot boxes are kind of shitty, the microtransactions in Apex amount to unlocking the male equivalent retool of an egown. You have to get the egown in game before you can use the retool. You can also choose to play the game, spend $0, and be on the same competitive playing field as everyone else.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I would never describe WoTMUD as a F2P game, as that implies some sort of business model with microtransactions (whether simply cosmetic or P2W) or advertisements. Of which WoTMUD has neither.
