Has there always been a waygate hidden here?

In the Hills of Toman Head
Here in a small brushy hollow amongst the hills of Toman head stands an
intricately carved stone doorway. It is not visible from any but the closest
locations, and doesn't appear to lead into anything. Perhaps it is the
sole remainder of some structure from ages gone by. It does look as if it
could be from before the Breaking of the World.

Old, yet hardly pitted, the stone is intricately
carved with many different
kinds of vines all intertwined.

Hidden amongst the various kinds of leaves, you see
an Avendesora leaf.

I'll be damned. I don't think it's always been there...but now I can't remember for sure.

What kind of conspiracy have you exposed here?!

I see from my old map data that I visited that location {following a nasty mis-port in case any Aes Sedai was wondering} at Unix Epoch Time 1327901990 i.e. Mon, 30 Jan 2012 05:39:50 UTC. I had not marked that as the location of a Waygate - which I would have done if I saw it - but obviously I wasn't looking for that sort of thing right then :o , so all I can say is that the description has not changed since then though it IS suggestive of a way-gate.

It's just a description, no functionality. A bit like the amount of black towers there are across the mud. It seems like every new builder wanted to build a black tower.
