Caning commie/ragan

Can I ask what is the point of someone caning commie and ragan? all it does is make sure LS runs either to kajin or in. Don't understand what the point is.

Probably a darkfriend, who may try to get awarded for it, hence the incentive.

I used to do this on certain seanchan patrols and imms made them un-hurricanable, so I'd think the same idea applies. Goose and gander and all that.
