Indisputably the focal point of the entire room, a tall-backed throne adjacent
to the east wall looms above you on a five-layered dais, whose wide-brimmed
steps emanate out from the center like rippling waves. Twin, ornately carved
fireplaces were built on either side of the throne for effect more than warmth.
