Above the Gates of Falme
Above the gates to Falme this room holds the locking mechanism for city
defense. Overlooking all traffic into the city and out this room provides
an ideal vantage point. Suspended by several large chains a metal barrel
hangs along the edge of the wall. A blazing fire beneath the barrel quickly
heats the contents to the point of boiling. The lever on the right side of
the mechanism seems to be connected to the barrel somehow.

Plains Before Falme
The grass here has been trampled badly and no longer grows in some places. It
is clear after a moment of looking that large military units have been drilling
here. To the east are more fields, looking somewhat less trampled, and to the
south is the gate to Falme. The outer wall of Falme rises to the west. North
is impassable blocked by a steep slope into the hills north of Falme.

I chased Jumaer into Falme after some pk, and tried to make it out...I was denied life!

The town gate of Falme is to the west. It looks sturdy, but not impenetrable
in the event of a serious siege. It and the town wall are probably more of a
tool of the local guard, protection against bandits, rather than armies.
to either side of the gate however, there are open fields with evidence of
military drilling by forces much larger than a town militia. To the east
a rough, rocky road leads off into the hills of Toman Head.
