Re: stop #hellmudding me!!
Sorry, don't afk in pk zones.
It's PK 101.
It's PK 101.
Re: stop #hellmudding me!!
Sorry about that, I really didn't notice.
Re: stop #hellmudding me!!
If you didn’t kill him for the gear (bull dung that’s the number one reason plebs kill AFK, they aren’t good enough for decent TPs accumulation)So then I guess it begs the question ‘Why did you kill him?’Bernice wrote:Sorry, don't afk in pk zones.

To teach him a lesson? Experience points? Burning desire to kill all that is dark?!? Still perplexes me. Surely you had less fun than if you had spared him, he came back and you had some back and fourth and probably would have killed him since it appears it was 4v1. Win win situation.
I also never understood the argument of ‘don’t be afk in a PK zone’ The whole basis of this game is PK. Nothing differentiates one zone from another. The same type of people who kill AFK are those who cheat in other games. Using every available advantage to achieve some goal. In real life they are the ones with needle phallus’.
Its doubly bad when this happens to players like Mikhail or Jestin who are incredibly fun to play with and against (I don’t include myself that group).

Don’t be a dick. It’s being a person 101.Bernice wrote:Sorry, don't afk in pk zones.

This is such a dumb strawman argument. If it is obvious that the other person isn’t there, leave them be. It’s not as if he was pking you and went mysteriously afk when he was low. Especially a player like Mikhan who doesn’t pull this dung when the roles are reversed.
Re: stop #hellmudding me!!
You guys are kidding yourselves if you think making a post about dung behaviour is going to change dung behaviour, people do what they want to regardless.
Re: stop #hellmudding me!!
Please stop with the personal attacks. Whatever you think of what I (and yes, I take full responsibility for this) did, that's your opinion.
Re: stop #hellmudding me!!
Kryyg, you and Jestin used to be the biggest cheaters at this game.Kryyg wrote:The same type of people who kill AFK are those who cheat in other games. Using every available advantage to achieve some goal. In real life they are the ones with needle phallus’.
This game can stir emotions without a doubt. But we all need to take a step back and act like adults. I think the majority of us who play this game still are at least in our 30s. When is enough enough?
Re: stop #hellmudding me!!
I never kill anyone AFK and maybe for that reason rarely have anyone kill me AFK.
However, I remember when I first started to PK 17ish years back, it was a given to be killed afk in a pk zone. It was only controversial when you died and were LD, and even then it had to be a genuine LD death and not a "drop link to afk" LD death. Pretty sure that was the case. Am I wrong?
Not saying it was better though.

If nothing else at least there weren't personal attacks about what a horrible person you are every time someone got what was coming to them. Well there probably were, but seems to happen every time nowadays.
Re: stop #hellmudding me!!
But back then you weren't safe just walking from WB to Caem simply because there was also pk, but now you might be safe idling in 4k for an hour. I, like so many others, memorized those spams before anything else just to run through alive. The mud is a different place now; the players are different people. I mean, how many of us had to take care of our kids when we first started vs. how many of us do now?
