Something in my gut is telling me Rig is innocent. Perhaps it's my own biases, but I've never fully trusted the Whitecloaks. For all their claims of "protecting the innocent", they seem more motivated by their own ends than in actually helping people! The "Whitecloaks" in this town seem a little too fervent with their claims in the absence of hard evidence, but I guess that is nothing new for them.

I don't approve of the notion of speaking poorly about the Children of the Light in regards to wanting to keep us safe. I just think they may be overwhelmed with pushing back the shadowspawn and trying to discover the murdering darkfriend. That is why we must help them!

So we were completely right to lynch Rig. His attempts at misdirection completely failed.
