one of the risks of berserking on a channeler, the other point with slow, best way to counter it is just to leave while you still have moves, unless you are packing a lot of vials/ciders and care to use them - go to a nochannel/wb fade if you have the moves, else try to hide in obscure room while you regen until you can move to a patrol. Is literally no point in fighting a slowing channeler solo.

I mean maybe don't let me weave slow on you 8 times and then run 3 rooms at a time and zerk? Probably would have gotten away if you hadn't zerked, or just hadn't been so obvious about where you were running.

Simple yet clean, this typical wisdom's home has all the telltale signs of a
busy owner. Glass jars containing every imaginable color of salve and cream
are arranged according to some mysterious scheme on the profusion of oak-hewn
shelves by one of the walls. The rest of the room is dominated by a large
well-stocked open fire nestled at the bottom of a tall brick chimney, which
reaches all the way up to the roof. Two ornately carved wooden benches with
embroidered cushions face the fireplace, perfectly positioned to give views
over the surrounding area through the large window. A large bell hangs in one
corner, which the Wisdom tolls when she holds a surgery.

Road Into the Hills of Kintara
The gray paving stones of the Southern Road end here has the road begins to
wind into the hill of Kintara. To the north the landscape is all farmland.
Barely visible in the distance are the towering walls of a rather large
city, and just a few leagues north a small grouping of houses along the
road denotes a village of some kind. South the landscape folds into rolling
hills dotted with thickets of trees.

A wide stone paved road leads north to the southern gates into Caemlyn.
Before the gates is a large open air market where dealers hawk their goods
in shouts and cattle brawl from within crude corrals. Southwards a few
leagues the road leads through a small village before passing into the
rolling hills of Kintara.

road to Caemlyn. The dirt road is rutted from the travel of many wagons.
Just a league to the north, the white and silver streaked, grey walls of
Caemlyn tower fifteen spans above the ground. Rising even higher the
watchtowers are surmounted by snapping pennants of the white lion of Andor.

Through the center of this pasture a quiet lane leads south towards a large
red brick farmstead. It rises two stories and sprawls over a good bit of
area. A large stable is the east and many horses graze along that side of
the lane. On the west side of the lane, many sheep graze on the green
grass. A few leagues west wagons can seen traveling south along a wide
road. Grass grows intermittently in this pasture.

Caemlyn Road
The road narrows slightly at this point, and the road surface becomes more and
more uneven as successive generations of tree roots in the Braem Wood have made
their impact. The wood itself is just to the north, and some of the trees
overhang the road itself, which, as well travelled here as anywhere else,
continues to the east and west. A small dirt-packed lane leads off to the
south, somewhat neglected.

Razorgrass has started to grow in the grass beside the road. There is also
the offspring from the trees in the forest to the north of here, the Braem

The Braem Wood, densely wooded here as everywhere else, is overshadowed by
a hillock to the west, and there seem to be white stick-like things on the
ground at its base. There is a way through the bushes to the hillock, and
looking at the trampled bushes and plants, it would appear to be in heavy
use. The Braem Wood continues in every direction.

busy owner. Glass jars containing every imaginable color of salve and cream
are arranged according to some mysterious scheme on the profusion of oak-hewn

well-stocked open fire nestled at the bottom of a tall brick chimney, which
reaches all the way up to the roof. Two ornately carved wooden benches with
embroidered cushions face the fireplace, perfectly positioned to give views
over the surrounding area through the large window. A large bell hangs in one
corner, which the Wisdom tolls when she holds a surgery.

A wide stone paved road leads north to the southern gates into Caemlyn.
Before the gates is a large open air market where dealers hawk their goods
in shouts and cattle brawl from within crude corrals. Southwards a few
leagues the road leads through a small village before passing into the
rolling hills of Kintara.

A Dirt Lane
The road to Aringill continues on to the east and westward meets the south
road to Caemlyn. The dirt road is rutted from the travel of many wagons.
Just a league to the north, the white and silver streaked, grey walls of
Caemlyn tower fifteen spans above the ground. Rising even higher the
watchtowers are surmounted by snapping pennants of the white lion of Andor.

Through the center of this pasture a quiet lane leads south towards a large
red brick farmstead. It rises two stories and sprawls over a good bit of
area. A large stable is the east and many horses graze along that side of
the lane. On the west side of the lane, many sheep graze on the green
grass. A few leagues west wagons can seen traveling south along a wide
road. Grass grows intermittently in this pasture.

Caemlyn Road
The road narrows slightly at this point, and the road surface becomes more and
more uneven as successive generations of tree roots in the Braem Wood have made
their impact. The wood itself is just to the north, and some of the trees
overhang the road itself, which, as well travelled here as anywhere else,
continues to the east and west. A small dirt-packed lane leads off to the
south, somewhat neglected.

Razorgrass
Razorgrass has started to grow in the grass beside the road. There is also
the offspring from the trees in the forest to the north of here, the Braem
Wood. There are more razorgrasses to the east, and to the south is the main
road through Andor, although the razor grass, with its barbs pointing
against you, is too thick to let you through.

The Braem Wood, densely wooded here as everywhere else, is overshadowed by
a hillock to the west, and there seem to be white stick-like things on the
ground at its base. There is a way through the bushes to the hillock, and
looking at the trampled bushes and plants, it would appear to be in heavy
use. The Braem Wood continues in every direction.

Set higher than the woods below, this small hillock allows you to see all
the way over to Aringill, far to the southeast, and Caemlyn to the
northwest. Part of the massive Braem Wood stretches all the way between
there and here, with oak, ash and pine trees aplenty. This wood has lots of
wildlife in its depths, and the tracks that you can see all around come as
no surprise. You can go back into the Braem Wood to the north and east.

There's an inherent ..complication with status weaves that will never be resolved, but is worth pondering. It is always worth being level 51 as a channeler. You become more potent with each level. Being 51 as their opponent better allows you to resist them. Obviously there is value to this, but is there as much value? A metaphor - Would you rather ..have a catapult or build higher city walls.
That said, don't stand there. Bring vials. Perhaps I'm crazy, but vials seem less available than I remember. And LS being full of Shienarans probably doesn't aid in acquiring herbs.

Unfortunately vial loads on DS got downed hugely, whereas they're still fairly easy to get on LS. As a result the run-of-the-mill trolloc has significantly less access to vials now unless they can be bothered to gather on LS and alt them to DS. A fairly poor change and one that's hugely frustrating as it results in discouaring people playing ABS trollocs.
