I just want to say that I've had a lot of really positive interactions with a lot of people that I typically wouldn't expect them from over the last few days and weeks.

I generally call it like I see it and the "reactions" are more informative than enjoyable. I'll change the names to protect the guilty, but it helps me (and anybody else who is paying attention) note the difference between, say, Dalaina or Laal, to use some completely made up names unrelated to anybody here. If you're wondering what has become apparent, it's basically the difference between "We can do better" (as futile and historically incorrect as that is) from someone who has actually shown they've matured and "someone was mean to me, everything sucks, nothing is good, it's everybody's fault but mine, Make Amer---err WoTMUD Great Again" by someone who says they've matured, but apparently not enough to recognize the role of their current behavior as a part in the flack they catch. I don't just respond entirely for shits and giggles and it definitely colors my interaction with people in-game. Like, I might help Laal out with something, but I'll mostly ignore Dalaina. I can sure help Laal try to make the place a little nicer through actual in-game interactions, but I can't really help Dalaina be less of an asshole. Rinse and repeat for years and years.

It's not anger or about "effectiveness" - after seeing the way the people on this game work for the past decade and a half, if I thought pointing out self-awareness issues to the people who project their behavior onto others and then whine about it was some kind of panacea, that would be insane.
