If rank 5 trinkets are going to have a bonus on them, people shouldn't be allowed to have their friends issue/trade in for clan trinks and give them away. I've noticed a number of people running around in multiple sets of clan trinks that aren't even their own clan's. It's one thing when it's the lootable non-bonused gear that's just a retool, but people running around with 4 pieces of bonused no-loot gear? Seems crazy to me.

I don’t care about people alting or trading them around because rp can take care of itself there. But just let people loot them, don’t see the big deal.

I put my clan trinks in a pack and can't get them out. How can you possibly trade these? Seems like all I can do is issue and then wear them. Unless you can actually give them to people?

I think the issue with them being lootable but not exchangeable would mean DS/SS can run around with four trinkets with bonuses, but humans would be - in theory - hindered by this because of the RP.

RP is a loose term these days. People breaching it already so I don't see the point. Just let them be lootable at this point to save people the hassle of conversation lol

I think being unlootable is the one thing that makes me not give a dung about people transferring bonused trinkets around. I've got no problem with the noloot aspect, it's a great way to allow some circulation of trinkets into and out of the mud. If they're being removed via decay from noloot then you can allow more of them to load on smobs, which is a good thing I think.
The problem for me is now they're bonused trinks and getting stacked on already overbonused characters with no rp repercussions
