Just a note, the 23rd of September is the 'Old Firm' Glasgow derby. That basically means the city centre is a bit of a mad house! Pubs will be rammed between about 12-3, and then inebriation will go down hill from there. Probably best to avoid public transport about that time... and you know, popular city centre pubs for basically the entire night...
