Gonna wake up extra early tomorrow morning to refill, was literally impossible to get gas tonight. Went to like 8 gas stations and all were crammed full. Should be ok as I'm northwest coast. Irma should lose a lot of strength if it does run through midland. Have relatives on the east coast though..

Latest projections are east coast but good luck everyone! My parents are in Sint-Maarten right now because old people insist on hurricane season for vacation *grumble* lol

I'm hoping by the time it reaches St Augustine it will have weakened because "one does not simply" evacuate via I-95! We are expecting major delays and already seeing a bit of healthy panic here - and rightfully so. Praying for those in the path right now. Unbelievable.

My sister just moved to Port St. Lucie in the end of July. She started teaching 3rd grade down there. She's quite panicked as she's never experienced anything like this before. I think she wants to evac and visit me in NC. Her schools are closing Thursday and Friday. Do you expect I-95 to be terrible drive if she leaves tomorrow morning?
