It would make sense to either remove dismount lag or have riders automatically dismount if their mount is bashed, or both.

It is always funny to me seeing people argue over game mechanics and what they think they *should* be, rather than accepting them and trying to adapt around them. I am unsure whether horse bash is intended in its current form, but it is a neat variation in pk mechanics and acts as a relatively small risk for the massive perk that is riding.

It is a function of the game, just like doors. Your efforts would probably be better spent trying to learn to pk better rather than complaining that the game is broken and that is why you arent good.

Well this certainly got out of hand! I didn't start a flame thread complaining, I displayed an OUCH moment and made an offhand comment about my opinion of horse bashing which a lot of people share. It's a garbage feature, as was old school ambush, and running timers on engaged people. You know what I did when this happened? I took a piss, made a sandwich, and watched some tv while I waited my 15 and then I fished through rents for 20m before I readied back up at malkier. Ya'll reading wayyy too much into this. For me, setting up a new trigger to dism when I get the message is at least a band aid. But I mean really this "neat feature" is just a new problem created by a fix to an old one. Max engage was an issue way back when we had 10 of a side in a room, maybe not as much of an issue now. But I mean really, how does a max 7' >300 lb trolloc bash a 1500-2000lb warhorse anyways?

@EQ there's doors with slight delays opening/closing and abilities that both bash and magically seal doors perma open or closed vs. the incessant spamming we have here.

Can kill a horse outright with human strength and a wood axe. Pretty sure a 300lb trolloc with a two-handed sword could cleave one in half. Let alone knock it out or over..
