Can you or he clarify that? Are we talking about the case where a bash and weave land at the same time and weave goes through because of PONR? The flee part I'd love to see more examples of just because I'm interested, preferably without Eq's mess of triggers (love you, but oh my lord it can be a mess to figure out what's what). May be one of those stupid things where someone gets priority based on whoever logged in last, or first, or whatever it is?

The same thing happens when someone leads a PONR bash into the next room. Also, it wasn't an actual dline, either because of lag or you inputting it later than you realized.

Rig is saying that Equitant wants flees or bashes to take priority if they finish at the "same pulse" as a weave, which doesn't really make much sense. and would most likely coding. Even if they made spike 3 pulses longer, there will be the day when they finish at the same time. Someone post up a log of how 2 bashes that finished at the same time used to go.

Wow! What a refreshing discussion on forums. I'm just theorizing and dreaming mostly, as I know this is coding and has always been this way. I am still a big noob compared to most of you!

Ya, standard PONR. Damage gets processed first. Naerin is on point with the randomness of it. I'm not sure the way the commands are processed. Certain commands, like narrate, are processed based on who's logged in first, giving priority from top down. I don't think that's the case always though. Weaves, I think, always take priority. When bash and weave go off on the same line, weave always goes through. What happens when a weave and a stab land at the same time? The weave always interrupt the stab. When bash vs bash go off on same line, only one bash goes through. Perhaps there was a time both bashes went through? If so, they probably addressed only that specifically, without solving the bigger issue of lack of RNG in the command processing.

I'm not suggesting longer timers as that wouldn't solve the problem. I'm not even sure what i'm suggesting, more making an observation.

Is this true? Fairly sure stabs will still go through if you're hit the same line, even with weaves. Definitely happens when you hit normally (breaking defense won't interrupt the stab), fairly sure weaves won't break the stab either but you'd have to test on two same-side chars so you're sure to start on the right pulses. Or find a log, I guess.

I will admit that I stated that as fact based on Rig saying it is true. I originally posed it, "What happens when a stab and a weave happen on the same pulse?"

That was confusing. I thought i was beating you on bashes, but i wasnt even sure if you were rolling or not. That's why at the end i said wait. I was asking on narrates wtf is going on. I thought you were afk or something, but Aerindil insisted you were berserk. Thank goodness thats what it was lol.
