ANSWERED: Why are the Grocers so powerful now????

So, I go from wound to beat because this grocer is hitting me for like 40 hp though combo, which is nuts. When Puny and I both grab a mob and we still can't kill it, it's a little ridiculous. Did the grocers get fucked with and upped or this a bug???

I am wondering why the LS grocer is so powerful, as well. I went from hurt to dead after a clumsied stab and 4 failed flees. It was the grocer and his 2 guards. I have 290 defense and the grocer was hitting me for frags every attack, like I was naked or something. Why was he suddenly upped? He's the only mob up north that loads a water flask, btw.

If the imm's want him to be a miniSmob, fine. But please make DS butchers in RK/KK/SH/TKD load flasks and standard waterskins. They're lighter, and for us dodge/combo trollocs, they are more desirable than the standard DS skin of human flesh.

This was done in conjunction with the removal of no-hides, to ensure that vital shop mobs aren't so easily killed. After all, it would suck if one had eq or weapon in mend and couldn't get them out due to the shopmob being gone, or if a grocer was dead and one couldn't buy a vital object like a lantern.

So, not a bug.

Why wasn't this mentioned in the no-hide post then? Plus in this instance, who on LS would go to Lockshear just for the grocer? Seems like an overly excessive change.

It's all of the grocers, not just the Lockshear one. Is fine imo I was just wondering why it was so powerful.

Shopmobs are frequently used in multiple areas. This one is probably identical to ones in the south. As to why it wasn't communicated, the primary complaint was that players did not know whether to pay more attention in some areas, or not.

Got it. Shopmobs like grocer got upped because nohides were reduced. Still, could someone code the DS grocer/butcher mobs to load water flasks and waterskins? Those items are significantly lighter than a skin of human flesh, and as I stated before, us combo/dodge guys desire flasks because of that weight difference.
