So, are you saying if someone played an annoying character, and had an alt that was completely unknown and acted more correctly than said annoying character, they would have chance at one of these clans which would have nothing to do with OOC?

Or are you saying that if said player is annoying on one alt, he must be annoying on all alts, therefore blacklisting said person OOC so he will not be clanned on any alt?

I imagine if it is completely clear that said player is "rping" a loud mouth but acts differently across the rest of his characters, that wouldn't be an issue. But the point is it has to be really clear to everyone that it is RPing - granted I don't see why you would choose to RP someone annoying, but to each their own - else you are just coming off as an idiot and will likely be branded like that on the rest of your characters as well.

For example if you are playing a known murdering Male Channeler that is fine, but if you murder people who are afk/linkless/lowlevels then that will likely carry on to the rest of your characters, once people know you play them.
Same as RPing a thief, totally fine, but if you participate in PK and run off with loot, you're likely to be branded as well.

To add on: at some point, with sufficient playtime, all of your alts will be figured out. Equally, whatever you do will be shared at some point. It will probably never be official, but it's good practice to assume that whatever you're doing will be common knowledge and to act accordingly.

I get the sense you're referring to something specific and hiding behind the Guest account though, so I won't add much more to what Iria wrote.

I don't know - I've met one or two people who believe their mannerisms etc. are consistently different on different characters and noone knows their alts.
