A bit of a sleep in today. Pajana was out the door of her shack and shuffling toward town a little later than usual. Being old brought a new surprising ache each day.

Reaching the first group of gossipers she caught on to the gist of what had happened and what the mayor put out.

She spit onto the ground behind her. "A dark friend dead is good and behind us." She wrinkled her nose, the idea of dead and good coming at odds in her head. She asked about the small groups health, pinched a boys cheek till he squeeked nice and loud, then went on her way.

"The louder they are, the more alive they be." She nodded to herself and continued through town looking for more bodies to check for life.

She cackled. I wonder who'll escort this old lady around town, take me home and keep me company.

[Brocas]

Brocas takes a seat at the table and enjoys a full meal with Xoco, feeling fortunate to have found love during such troubling times.

[Astolfo]

Good people of Maredo, we must move forward with the Light of this day!
Information has made it's way to me from a new source upon which I believe we must act!

Brocas looks up upon hearing Astolfo's announcement. As the mayor has said, we need to trust each other now more than ever. LYNCH WEIR!

Joolis lifts his head off the tavern table with a snort as a group villagers busts through the door.

"Astolfo has found another darkfriend!" they cried. "He was right about Arkan and we didn't listen to him! We must lynch Weir before any more of us get torn limb from limb!"

A serving wench brings him another ale with a wink and says, "On the house mister." He forgot he even ordered one, but he must have done it right before he passed out. Yes that's it.

He takes a deep swig before joining in with the chorus of LYNCH WEIR that has now spread amongst the tavern's establishment.
