Re: WOTMAFIA - Murder in Maredo -Day 2 ENDS 11/28/16 11:59 pm EST
Joolis needs more evidence and thinks that no lynching is necessary at this point.

After a few hours of talking with Brocas at the tavern, Xoco extends a cordial invitation to move the conversation somewhere a little more private. "Light, but Brocas is handsome, don't you think?" Xoco muses quietly enough for no one to hear, while Brocas is away in the bathroom. "The whole town is up in a fuss about some lynch they want to carry out or not carry out, they're all so terrified of their own shadows I doubt anything will happen! Faugh! I think I'll just focus on enjoying today.. and hopefully tonight!"

Brocas looks into the mirror pondering the past few hours. "Xoco was definitely hitting on me right? It's been a while but I think I still know it when I see it." A flick of a hand sets the hair back in place. Brocas returns to the table and says "Xoco, I would love your company tonight. I have a room here upstairs, would you care to go up?"
This will definitely keep Brocas not thinking of lynching anyone.

NO LYNCH
at least for today. Where are the guards, when we need them? Where is the mayor? Did we lose the only hope by losing the investigator of the Children of Light?

The townspeople spend the day cleaning up the gruesome mess left from the once proud Child of the Light.
There were some people yelling for vengeance against those they believe may have committed the atrocity well others yelled for patience and peace!
In the end level heads won out and the day ended peacefully.

At the deep end of dusk, Xoco sits on the bed, sipping at a glass of mulled wine. Brocas draws closed the curtains with a flourish and turns smoothly towards a small case on the chamber table. Inside is a small, silver, flute-like instrument. Brocas extracts it from the leather and holds it deftly aloft between forefinger and thumb.
"Oh, my! What a handsome flute!" Xoco exclaims.
"Ah! Not quite. This is a piccolo," Brocas explains with a wink, and attaches the mouthpiece.

Momma told Rig it's time for bed. Rig wanna play. Rig hear sounds coming from nice man Brocas room. Rig drew back a curtain with a grin that quickly turned into a look of disgust. He had never seen something like this. Nice lady Xoco screamed and hit Rig and told mama. Xoco is mean lady. Rig go to bed, real sad.

Joolis longed for the days when he had four walls and a solid roof over his head, even if they were stone and iron. With a wistful sigh he watched those lucky few retire to their own homes, and set out again to find himself a place outside of town to lay his head.
