While I respect your opinion, I would question your categorization of her as a traitor (she was cleared by an opposition controlled FBI regarding the emails and an opposition Congress regarding Benghazi), while turning a blind eye to Mr. Trump who was an admitted draft-dodger. Certainly, there are rose-colored glasses on both sides, but I think it is a touch disingenuous to label her as a traitor and him simply as a buffoon.

With the amount of money Hillary took in from special interests I don't think it's safe to assume she'd do anything about Citizens United!

Valid point, though in responding the OP, she was the only choice who voiced an intention to do so. If all we have to go on are the proposal (which is a flawed but necessary position), i would challenge the assertion that a vote for Trump furthered the goal to remove money from governance.

I was undecided till i pulled in to the voting house and heard her calling trump supporters idiots more or less. Most people that voted for him are upset with how Obama promised so much for the jobs coming back and nothing changed for the middle class . My medical insurance premium increased, no pay raise, no new jobs. The rich get richer and those that ride the government coattails got more handouts that my taxes pay for. It was said last night that the democrats only care for the innercities when its election time then its adios. Its not that they wanted trump for trump. The people rose up and used trump as an outcry for change, as bad as it seems its true. I am a southern Alabama some college educated white male raising 2 kids by myself with a job that takes most of my time. Anyone that knows me knows I am not a racist or a sexist, but our country cant get out of its own way. This shocked everyone that Trump won but the reason he won is most of your blue collar working people come to the call when hillary started trashing us.The democrats did this to themselves. I could give a damn less about the wall on the Mexico border. I could care less about emails on a server. I want my kids to have a future, and right now we don't have one in this country. My kids could get a free education over in some countries bordering russia but not here. Free health care in Canada but not here. Big business and Big money have a stranglehold on America and is killing it. Head Quarters in America but factories in Mexico where they can make their product for a half a fraction of the price. Then they bring it back here and sell it for 10x what it cost to make.

I know I rambled on but know that its not just the common people that did this but also the rich and government officials and also other countries had a hand in this.
You mean the people rose up and voted for Hillary. Her percent of the popular vote, which already exceeds Trump's, appears to only be increasing while Trump's decreases. No, that doesn't change the outcome of the election, but you can't claim Trump won a popularity contest. He lost it. Also, most people who voted for Trump never voted for Obama, so it's really only a small % that changed their votes (though that % did change the election).

You're upset how unemployment under Obama went from 10% to 5% and you think nothing changed? Wages went up and nothing changed?

I assume you're aware that Trump received hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer money, but you're upset that some poor people got food stamps?

You mean that Trump's campaign which focused on being racist, is not racist? I'm sorry to say this, because I take your word that you are not racist, but when a candidate clearly states racist intentions, if you vote for him, you ARE VOTING RACIST. This isn't some minor point easily overlooked like policy towards Uganda, this is a major focus of the campaign and full of Trump promises.

Blue collar workers left unions and got upset that they suddenly had a smaller voice? I'm not terribly sad. Were you upset that Hillary Clinton had a massive multi-billion dollar plan for blue collar workers and newer fields of the 21st century? Are you upset that Trump thinks wages are too high?

I see other people covered the problems you had seeing the differences between the two in free education, money in politics, and healthcare. Honestly, half your post looks like a solid Democratic voter, just not the half that says who you voted for. Truthfully, I reread this a couple times and it just sounds so democratic except a couple very odd talking points that lead elsewhere. Maybe you'll like Kaine 2020. He does have a penis and many Americans are very concerned about that.

Imo this attitude is exactly why Hilary lost this election - this condescending attitude of "I know better than you, you better agree with me or you're an uneducated idiot" that seems so pervasive with educated liberals. We have to start listening to each other, really listening, otherwise this country is lost. We need to start working together, and the last thing someone wants to do after you've either called them an idiot or implied it is to work with you.

The middle class, especially blue collar white males, are seeing their quality of life decrease and nothing seems to be stopping that trajectory. When you observe this trend, the worst possible future is to see more of the same ahead of you, which is what Hilary represented. Trump, despite all his faults, represented SOME potential change from the current trajectory, and some hope is better than none.

That's the fundamental underlying thing that won Trump this election. You can quote stats and state what you perceive as ultra-logical arguments all you want, but the proof is in the results. Your small town white families are pissed with how things are going and want some shot at change.

Wept just won. As an observer, you guys are so passionate about your candidates to the point of bigotry. The flow on result is as displayed.

Also Skittles, come to Australia, we have some cool stuff here and I like you.

There are clear policy differences (except when Trump really had no policy, which was often enough). I suppose I could just yell in caps rather than try to explain. Perhaps a catchy slogan or saying that has no basis in fact, but plenty of myth. I don't know if you meant my post or the others before, or all, but I can say in my last lengthy post I actually did try to rewrite it so it was... familiar and not accusing or angry (or at least as little as I could be under the circumstances). If being intelligent and well-spoken is the crime, then firetrucking toss me in jail, cause I'll keep it up.

I'm sorry but this was the exact same argument that I got from 90% of my family and friends from Texas, but towards democrats. "Ah them firetrucking libtards. All they want to do is take my money and do nothin." It goes both ways, which is why discourse has felt impossible this entire election cycle, and why partisanship has grown so bad that compromise is a dirty word.
