funny wot challenges

Post by granit » Sun Sep 25, 2016 3:16 pm

I think it would be really interesting to watch top players on the reaver/sei'taer list use a pre-rolled char with sub par stats like (16 x x 17 17 hunter) and then clan them, and try and master. I think it would just be really interesting to watch.

what are some other interesting challenges you think people could try?

The amount of time it would take to master a char with those stats in such a small community would take ages. And you won't amount to much with 17 con in abs and you're left with heavy combo but don't have the STR to pull the pb you will need to keep your def up. Buuuut something like 18 18 18 would be a bit better!

I think Zangief was like 16 19 17 or something when he mastered? Lots of people had stats like that, that were considered amazing way back when!

When I mastered Argayle he was a 15 - - 11 18 warrior.

I knew nothing about stats at first, and after a while was to invested in the character to dump him :P

The only reason we accepted mediocre stats back in the day, cause you had to create a new name every stat, which was lvl 5 and you had to fight with a ton of other states for the few cute deer that popped.

It amuses me to hear people complaining about the stating system now

First tempest was a 171717 rogue and that was considered good lol

While I enjoy having good stats, let's not pretend you can only play and succeed with them. Just cause whingers like Rig can't play without super doesn't mean the rest of us need that crutch!

The only stat that matters is 19 dex, and even Puny did without that on the way to r8.

The only class that would be extremely difficult to play with mediocre stats is abs because with all the master bonus damage these days it's hard enough playing abs with 400+ HP. But rogues and channies and combo hunters still easy enough to do.

The lack of Pk didn't make it hard, I watch people still getting 100 qp a week, especially on Ds cause we tend to give scalps to those that are closer.

My record is around 110-120 in a day, the end of last year before I mastered. It's probably a little more difficult on LS but still seeing people achieveaster reasonably quick.

Actually got a few alts, that have 17 con, with how stab is now I don't mind playing a combo with 350-360 HP's. It's definitely doable with combo
