Looks like you got some kind of word wrap going on. Have you checked your client settings? In mudlet, there is a tab in preferences for input line length that is typically set to 100 characters then it will wrap to the next line. If you set it to slightly longer (or if it's set shorter) it would resolve this perceived issue.
