So, the few of you who actually know me or anybody I play.. I don't really pk anymore.. used to a ton, lived it.. loved it. That was a different time. Now, especially with Aayan, I just avoid it altogether.. The points here are ridiculous mainly because people are replying as whoever they are logged in as, not just a player in general.

I have died several times at DG on my trolls because (aside from sucking and not wanting to be there) LS has basically overtaken keep and is just running rampant within the walls.. jumping out, picking gate, rinse, wash, repeat.. every once in awhile, ds gets the chance to return the favor in fd. Personally, I run to DG cause my mush brain thinks, 'Oh he's super strong, I'll survive there! Ha! Stupid pukes!' and then die. I've ran to dumb dung mobs like Granlin, or Selaana..I've died at Taim, DL at Blod, damane pairs.. it doesn't really matter.. if there's enough opposition, certain tactics used, etc.. you're screwed.

I see it with horse bashing, LS loves to very fine person, gender being but a construct of society and moan about it, but they target shadows and say "herp derp, they do it to us!" and then log on ds and it's same, but different... every day.. all day.. for decades.

PK today is already Dusty, Winding, Gap, Blight, Keep, Stedding, Orch, DF, (blands actually gets passed over a lot but it's in there), back to rinse wash repeat. Round and round and round...

Lansin, you know I love ya man but this is PDW all the way and you even lower yourself to insulting people... nobody is innocent.. it happens and has happened on both sides since 1995..

Imo, random no channels are RPishly just dumb as hell anyway, "I can literally shoot fire from my hands!... unless I stand on that rock..." Channeling mobs have been around ages, but sure.. take 'em out.. up the no channels.. why don't we just make everybody hunters and give everyone the same stats?? oh... yeah...

Anyway.. this is just shootin off the top of my head.. take what ya will.. On a side note, I've been emptyin the rents and handing crap out/putting on market because I've just lost the interest or care for many of the 'round and round and round' reasons above and cheating 'super skilled' players that literally just ruin the entire idea of playing or being online at the same time as them... I have run out of fire trucks (space to show levity and I'm not cussing :) )

You had a channeler. The dreadlord is very low level (cons as easy). Channie blinds dreadlord. Dread will still slice some weaves but doesn’t fireball. That was played poorly (no offense). That said, I agree, multiple emote weaves for big dmg is excessive. I’ve long thought that channeling mobs should have to follow same rules as pcs… weaves timer, interrupted when hit or bashed etc.

I hate when people post something like this and don’t name and shame. Who is cheating? Who are these phantoms? Don’t be a coward, accuse them.

This is literally what pk has always been. People move around many zones back and forth killing each other over and over. I’m confused by the point.

No Channels:
Just because it’s good for RP doesn’t mean it’s good for PK and vice versa. This is a weird argument because you have to make sacrifices for gameplay. One of those is no channels.

I don't name them because I don't have definitive proof, mainly. Also, they are far too high up the 'hierarchy', and fully in the 'cool kids clique' to even bother... If I were to bother, I would speak with the 1 or 2 people (imms) that can (dis)prove it, not here..

No, I agree.. that's why I specifically threw in the RPishly bit. Gameplay wise, it can be explained.. but I think that ends up as a bit of a double-edged sword because if there was not a single channeling mob in TV, for example, it would just be lame and dumb.

I don't explain things/what's on my mind super well, admittedly.. I'm throwing out a word salad in passing as I work and do other crap online I'd rather be doing. Whatever, if anything, comes of all this doesn't really effect or apply to me so... *shrug*

Oh, my sweet summer child. You are assuming that we can do a whole lot about channeling mobs in the first place.

No documentation. We have figured out how to not make channeling mobs Incin, that's about it. With the variations we have, we don't know what any given flag combination does in terms of what weaves a mob uses.

No way of changing what weaves any given flag does, except through coding and there are more important things in the queue.

Anyone remember me attempting to make mobs emote rather than channel? Even with mobol intended to prevent it from repeat firing in quick succession, that turned out to not be reliable, so people got emoted to death about as quick as with channeling mobs. So that was that 'solution'. This has been stated ad infinitum over the years.

Which leaves removing them entirely and that is just a step we haven't been willing to take, because channeling is an integral part of the world RJ created. Given the circumstances, ultimately, it's a player issue, either wrt people sitting at overkill mobs, or people still hitting them.

Only valid point I see is some of them being in 1 exit rooms.
