Statting Day?
Re: Statting Day?
Thank you for all the clarification. So if I have this right the idea will be to stat once. If your stats are bad you choose prerolled stats. You then level to 51 and keep rerolling via xp above 51 to improve your stats. If so I love that system!
Re: Statting Day?
Multiplay-spam-bot-stat-cheating aside, what % of "players who bot stat" are we anticipating will instead become active level 51 players with this change?
Re: Statting Day?
If the players who bot stat aren’t exping at lvl 51 for rerolls, did we really lose anything? They weren’t really playing at that time before.
Re: Statting Day?
Some % of them, myself included when I was statting many months ago, would at least monitor globals and participate in dialogue, including helping newbs with information. That's not nothing.
But an certainly glad there will be an avenue for folks to better their stats at 51 as well.
Re: Statting Day?
Almost. You will start at level 1 with prerolled for your homeland and class (e.g., a bearish warrior will always get 21 7 7 17 17). You will not get any stat or prac reset at level 3 anymore, and there will be no need to remember to opt into prerolled at level 3. You just level up with prerolled and then at 51 you can start buying rerolls to try to get different stats that you prefer more.
Re: Statting Day?
Just checking in, there is still nothing for MC's? I just leveled one to level 3.. got 18 12 12 18 14.. am I supposed to level that to 51 to get a reroll? im not angry, just confused.
Thanks for any explaination.

Re: Statting Day?
Correct. Need to hit 51 and get stats since there's not a decent prerolled option for MCs like there is FCs, and otherwise you'll be stuck at those low sps (something like 114 total?) and won't be able to prac anything with 7 element cost until you get greater than 12 int.
The 18 strength is intended to make it easier to hide your class per the announcement, but in practice the limited hps is far more of a tell anyway and the 18 strength is essentially a non-issue. MC prerolleds could be 19 12 12 19 19 and the hp cap will still be obvious.
I've tested it a bit, and I also noticed that given the starting statsum for MCs being 6 sum less than other prerolleds (74 vs 80), and a massive 8 sum less than the fc prerolled statsum (82), you tend to get really low rolls. Best I had in a number of stats was 80 statsum, and I had to take a 14 17 17 18 14 (worse than fc prerolled) just to try and improve and hope to get something decent for a channie since I'm fairly sure it's unlikely to get a 10+ statsum improvement on a reroll.
Incidentally, this also takes away the 18 strength given to "help you hide" so now it's even more difficult. Honestly, it's not even worth statting an MC imo, and you might as well make a female channeler and clan Tower or Wisdoms and have something actually fun and playable in a fraction of the time and permanent/long-term viable to rank and collect bonuses.

Re: Statting Day?
I agree with this completely. With the player base being so small, outing an MC is a lot easier than it used to be just by looking at the small stuff. Though FC's have their fair share of down side, they do tend to have more fun. White Tower and Wisdom's are the more popular, but I have heard FC's with lesser channeling strength clanning to: Dragonsworn, KMG, Kin, and Legion of Unity.Deogen wrote: ↑Mon Jun 30, 2025 11:12 amCorrect. Pre-rolled for FC can take you all the way to Master and beyond, but will limit your weapon choices. Most popular for 14 str are: Yew Staff, Ringquillioned Sword, Sungwood Staff, Emerald Foil, and for those that like it up closed, Red Daggers.
