No quit is supposed to bar you from clan rooms I thought??

Barracks of the Golden Lances
Devoid of decoration and substance, this barracks is a complete opposite of
what it is called. It is strictly functional providing a resting area for
the Shienaran Lancers. Rows of neatly lined beds are arranged in the
straightest of lines with sheets crisply folded in the unoccupied beds.

I don't think I was super active when the "door delay" went in so I don't know what actually happened with that and obviously Kyson got into the room low so perhaps Imms will be fixing it.

That said - you needed to be spamming/saying some variant of exit/open door if you wanted to let someone in ie. once you bashed Kyson. Anyone can trigger the door unlock/opening.

The door was closed and locked. No one was going to open it from the outside - it was on you to let them in or flee out yourself.

Kyson getting in there in the first place was the issue. He continually ran in there during pk inside FD while we couldn't get in and the door was locked. He would then come back out fight and run back in when low. On this occasion the troll ended up inside solo right after kyson got in and we couldn't get in to help as it was locked.

At no point in this pk was kyson unengaged long enough to lose no quit and was entering that room immediately after being hit at agelmar a couple rooms away.

Think the only genuinely dumb thing is stacking it with those new mobs. The whole point of a room like that is that it is 100% safe as long as you, the clan member, don't let anybody in. Putting mobs in there just incentivizes dumb-dung behavior like using a clan room for active PK or creates a massive annoyance like NO QUIT blocking entry when it's massively convenient for just afking if you need to do it but have no quit. This was the case for the Lancer doors briefly because some ten ply kept trying to use it to PK and kept getting smoked and whined nonstop about it. Literally everyone hated it when you couldn't come in from PK or whatever and just go afk in there if you had something else to do.

It should really be pretty simple:

1) If it's a mobol pulling you into clan rooms, it should be gated by NO QUIT.

2) If it's a door that opens and anybody can get into, it shouldn't be gated by NO QUIT, but it should also be opened by everybody inside (sconce or 'say exit') *and* it shouldn't be stacked with mobs so as to incentivize use during PK.

It's a massive convenience 99% of the time and should be a near death trap if you're trying to use it to escape pk. But once that door closes with you inside, you're pretty much 100% safe and that should have a steep cost.
