Changing boot time

Post by Zangief » Tue Apr 22, 2025 6:04 pm

As with anything, there’s no reason to change something just to change it. We could argue for and against this until the chickens come home to roost.

That said, I think it’s a small but very meaningful change to be considered.

I would suggest 4am EST if something like this was even worth discussing with Flash.

Just thought I’d throw it out there. Discuss!

With the amount of pk that ends at boot, especially on friday night backup long boot, moving things back 3 hours so that it doesn't interrupt things as harshly would be very welcome.

Think last time this was brought up it was stated that flash likes the current boot time best, but could be wrong.
