Had been dicking around with Akarus all night, nothing even close to actual PK. Then we mess around after Murgoz, I roll a bash that misses and eat the stab. Then THIS magic follows:

The stairs leading up to the entrance are made of the same stone that the
monastery was built with. There are thirteen steps up to what once was a
gate, but now is only a gateway. Bones and marks of blades on the steps are

monastery awaits.

The Decaying Forest
A small heap of stones is scattered around the dead trees. The branches of
these trees grow really close to the ground. Together with branches from

north and east the forest goes on, and to the south is a sloping hill.

There's actually another door east of that room. They didn't open it, but it might have complicated fleeing even if you had been more successful with the bashing. Not saying a huge obstacle, just that you'd need to close the other/open oakdoor or that you might have been doored in a room you didn't know the door of (if you didn't know it).
