Updating the main site?

So uh, our main website is looking a bit dated here and some of the links simply don't work anymore. Can we get someone to update it where necessary and reduce the clutter?

Elodin was working on it, not sure what caused it to get stalled. Then Elodin quit.

It's been on our radar, but given current staffing issues, I doubt much is going to happen.

We could get player suggestions to get a checklist going for what is broken/needs updating, and whoever has the access can just pop down that if it'd make it less of a hassle for Staff. I was thinking about how the name generator is broken, the 5 Rules needs updating to current Rules, and God help me if I can find how to check the Game stats without looking at your forum posted link specifically. Stuff like that.

Unless Elodin can do this and gives the go ahead, I'd suggest you save yourself the trouble. Ironically, the priority was fixing broken links, but like I said, no idea what happened to that.

Awful problem number one - someone has set the robots.txt to be no crawl.

Just need someone to do it. It needs it pretty badly.

Elodin was not working on it. Elodin volunteered to do so but Flash got busy with other stuff. He does not want to/will not give anyone access, much less random players - I pushed this for a while and got nowhere. Sorry, I don't see it changing anytime soon (and that's being optimistic ).

We're still working with people, people have strange ideas, conceptions and opinions. If it's a person in a position of authority the only thing you can do is bend over and take it a like a man because there's no way to change the situation.
