Faux entrance to Brown Ajah

Post by Abatha » Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:14 pm

The room description indicates there is an entrance to the Brown Ajah here but the room only allows for a up, down, or south exit. While I understand it also states that there is another entrance I think I was looking for physical doors on the north side of this room. Maybe doors that would never open to the north?

Before Closed Brown Doors
The landing on this stairwell has a floor of tiles in various hues of
brown. A pair of plain double doors, polished and with brass handles lie to
the north, closed and locked as the Brown Ajah resides on a higher floor. A
portrait of a woman wearing the seven-striped stole adorns the wall, the
colors contrasing sharply with the gray color of her dress.

Clad in a Novice's dress, Elami carries a teetering pile of laundry.

Right now, those room descriptions are copy and pasted place holders, they're not supposed to be accurate right now.

This one's accurate. In my experience, putting in doors just means people are going to waste their time picking them, finding a key and so on. Easier not to have doors to an Ajah wing that doesn't exist/ isn't occupied in the books.

Ely, there is also a typo in the room description.
"contrasing", instead of "contrasting"

It's amazing what listening to a desc verses reading a desc does, you sighted peaps and seeing what your brain expects to see!

Opps...missed the tree for the forest.

Also, what is the deal with Elami? She is everywhere in the tower! She can be in my same room and get to the next room before I get there! Is this what the Tower is expecting in a new novice now?

In the Blue Ajah Apartment
A delicate tea service of Sea Folk porcelain sits on a black oak table in
the middle of a gracefully appointed sitting room. In the south wall a veil
of silver cloth hangs in a high, curved arch that leads into the
apartment's private chambers. A few burning embers glow in the fireplace,
the stone mantelpiece carved with juniper leaves, cones and flowers.
Two comfortably upholstered chairs sit on opposite sides of the table.

A woman with an ageless face stands here.
A large man eyes the surroundings warily, every movement fluid.

Baeryn Sedai is standing here, sorting valuables.

A Long, Portrait-Lined Hallway
Finely carved white stone juniper leaves and cones form a frieze just
underneath the curvature of the arched ceiling, as well as corniches above
the doors that line the hallway. Decorating the pale walls are a multitude
of portraits of women wearing the staff and stole, all images of Amyrlins
who were raised from the Blue Ajah. Floor tiles is innumerable hues of blue
have been laid in a wavy pattern.

Possible typo2,
"Floor tiles is innumerable hues "
Is that supposed to be,
Floor tiles in innumerable hues

At this rate we're going to drown in laundry.

I *think* this is supposed to be cornices.
