Not the best idea to dline north or stack a west/east command after it. If you flee east, you'll get the "You can't ride in there" msg, and your stacked command would either bring you back into the group or get you to crossing, since you were alternating between w and e. If you flee south, you'll just end up back in the same room, which you did. If you get the west flee all is well, so thats a 1/4 chance of getting a good flee and depending on how you were stacking your commands a 2/4 chance of walking back into the group and a 1/4 chance of failing your flee due to dismount room, assuming olddoor was open.

Things you could have done is not dline, get your bearings and then decide what to do. If you end up 1s at the stables, great now you have a proper dline choice, do you want to dline west and go towards Dog or dline east and try to get into keep or run around eastern side, world is your oyster. But what if you get an east flee, now you're stuck between 2 dismount rooms while riding. So a decent idea is actually to dline your dism command, no real harm done and if you get aggrod 1e before you can move, at least you're dismounted and won't fail flees due to noride rooms. Even if you're getting caught you seem to have decent enough defense to parry/dodge most hits, but if you keep dlining back into the group you're running back into weaves/bashes and what not, better to get caught in adjacent rooms than make a bad dline and hope for the best flee.

He's stacking n w when 1s of rent, 50% chance of flee, good dlines if goes through.
The double flee was bad(took back in room which always seems to do) after 3 failed mounted exits.
He's stacking " n e " after each flee from north of stables, which is 66% chance with olddoor closed, 50% with it open, either an east or a west flee works with good dlines.

At a certain point, against numbers, particularly against channies you commit and rush it to hopefully get out of a bad situation before re-enforcements arrive(as they did). There's also a certain point where the dismount lag outweighs the hope of getting a good mounted flee.

Thanks for giving the updated probabilities on that - Rark the comments under yours are what I was going for - double flee doesn't 'always' return us to the same room although I wish I did know the stats on it as they seem pretty high. In this case I entered the room unthinkingly with stacked directions,.. so I knew I had already lost any possibility of dism flee before multiple bashes/weaves, Thus the double flee, to try for a success.

As both failed, reattempted, at which point I already know Nevaeh, I know there are blockers 1w, so attempted the dlines per call.
Honestly I did too many, and could have saved 2-3 commands there - I also started to, and then deleted the commands for a stacked close door, as I knew my command queue was already fubar. Probably the only real option that comes to mind once I was stupid enough to walk into them was to attempt the first double flee, and then on the second as soon as I saw flee go through to dline dism - getting the dism off unengaged, to then be able to hopefully get away.

Stop and scan before entering those rooms - The DS had been blindly chasing for about 10-12min every time they hit before this to catch me and build fleelag, I suspect this is what they actually wanted to happen, then when they hit crossing if I happen to get the flee w I'm already fubar and also fleelagged

Take the North route - the DS had been regularly posting blockers both 1e and 1w malk, and occasionally 1n malk for at least the past 20-30min. At least twice I got out fleelagged or horse hagg and ready to die by getting out malk.

Head South from crossing - probably my best option here, DS had completely cleared the area around 4n crossing and blocked it up and every time I went there I nearly died (over 20min of trying to get there and scalp one of the dead and the corpse eventually decayed!)

Actually drag them South to Tar Valon - I yelled suggesting this after they finished clearing FD, probably shouldn't have waited for a response but as noone else would pk figured I should keep giving them chances. Not a good choice survival wise.

Setup wise, once Fal Dara was cleared, having quake would have helped me a lot here - I basically couldn't ever fight in the room with both DLs due to not having quake, and both fades were waiting unengaged to dis bash me in many cases.

I tried to focus a little harder on individuals taking risks (at the time this went down it was Zangief, purely because the trolls were all staying with the DLs now, and those on blocks were healthy) - had he entered before Dovain I would have likely tried to eat the damage from Dovain to get a weave off

Was a really fun hour or two - particularly the pk in and around the Fal Dara keep
