Bright, shining light from the hundreds of lamp and candle stands assaults
your eyes the moment you enter this room. On a large dais on the back wall
of the hall sits the Sun Throne in all its glory. The light from the lamps
hits the gold encrusted chair, making it shine and sparkle. A large sun is
engraved in the gold on the back of the chair, sitting above the head of
the person who wears the crown. A long, thin carpet of dark blue lined with
red is stretched out in the center of the floor, leading from the door to
the dais. The chamber is devoid of chairs, the subjects having to kneel or
stand in front of the dais to address the ruler.
