Fleelag

Post by Firimei Lang » Wed Oct 26, 2016 6:36 pm

I wanted to ask this on AOW but it seems more appropriate here. I have been mostly fine in targeting and weaving.
Lately though I can't seem to weave for ages and then get lots of flee lag when a group is on me. With channie mentals it is annoying, to have lag hit me more than others in group pk.

I flee reengage and still get it. It has helped rip me to many times. No not blaming it all on this, can't blame the tools etc etc.
Just been mighty annoying getting flee lag when I tried to flee x5 in a row and end up in the col.

Any ideas why?

Do you mean flee lag or failed flees? Two slightly different things.

Here's a post on flee lag build up. Regardless of how high your will is, if you flee too often, you will build up flee lag. It's just one of the many things you have to learn to balance and be aware of in PK.

Were you bashed? You can't weave or do anything when you're bashed. Was your mood wimpy? Hard to say what the issue could be without a log.

Thanks all

I do know the flee lag buildup , just sometimes its odd and others ok. With even number of flees/attempts on each occasion.

I know my connection /ISP provider have had trouble lately in my area. Keep getting status informational.

Thanks all, just a meh week

Having a connection problem sucks.

I will say though - I think a lot of people perceive themselves to be frozen when they are simply receiving the either the intended affects of fleelag as they die/hit autowimpy or they are ineffectually jamming keys in a non-productive manner.
Most commands entered while engaged are wasted.
Doublelines that don't go anywhere are wasted.
If you flee from one room into another with a waiting opponent and you don't doubleline they are going hit you and the group you were just on is going to walk in.

These are sort of obvious ramblings, but its very easy to feel like "my commands aren't going through" when they are just going - you just can't walk out of a room when engaged.
