For example:
- Stock up on quest items and log on, turn in and back off in a matter of minutes. And/or port to object and port back.
- Hop from alt to alt doing these, with the potential to master multiple characters simultaneously, without ever really committing to playing them and logging off once done.
Soul's quests are a result of me voicing the wish that we could replace dailies with something that lead to people sticking around and grouping, which could then lead to smobbing and other activities including other players. Now that Soul's quests are in, the question was whether to axe dailies completely or re-work them. Upon tinkering, I found out a way to make mobol fire on a certain day of the week, allowing it to rotate between a quest on a weekly basis.
So, three birds one stone: a rotating weekly quest in central areas. Every Friday, it will pick one of 15 quests that you can complete the following week. I have collected these from the existing dailies. So: less repetition, it puts people in the center of the map and makes them take a bit longer to complete, since they aren't just confined to one's homeland and surrounds.
On top of the existing loads for these quest mobs/ items, additional loads have been placed basically between Deven Ride to Irinjavar and from Cut to Jangai Pass and Tear Fade.
The quest mob itself is located at an inn in Aringill: a slick middleman. SAY ISSUE QUEST to get him to list this week's quest.
The daily quests for LS will be removed. I will have to review the Seanchan ones and then see what I'm going to do with those.
