DS has been acting like the hypothetical SS. So, SS isn't too bad right now. Therefore, I shall stick in the SW forever.

You can use the rent too if LS owns it. I've used the rent if SS own it.

same with shops actually. you get a warrant from ss if you try to kill the shopkeeper when ls has it. seanchan can deal with shopkeepers even though ls have elmora and vice versa.

I agree with Drol. I loved Seandar and playing SS. I haven't played since it was removed. I'd play again if it were brought back.

As someone who never saw the beauty of Seandar, my memories are basically just having to afk because you just missed the boat to Falme, then end up missing the second boat as well and just quitting out, what was the appeal? Was it the more or less 100% safe zone, or was it that it was a vast area? As it is right now you can smob wherever you want with almost a guarantee of no one hitting you, so the safety thing still exists in Falme. Escaped damane is back on the mainland, so if that was your wet dream from Seandar, its back in business and you can farm it to your hearts delight.

The safety wasn't what I liked about Seandar, because it was fun when people found ways to get over and raid. The island was just really really well designed with a lot of cool areas and smobs and things to do. If people spent a lot of time there and learned to love it and their characters were based there, it would definitely be alienating when it was removed.

Edit: the boat waits and scalp turn ins over there did indeed suck.

In my experience, it was basically an alternate version of wotmud for those who didnt want to pk. If you just wanted to log in and shoot the dung with friends, go slay some wild beasts, maybe put down a couple big bad smobs, this was the place to do it. Sure, every now and then a Shei showed up in leathers and a jeweled and killed people then disappeared, but 99.99% of the time you were safe from other players messing up whatever you wanted to do.

There are a shitton of "neat places with fun things to do" on the game that are never used, so saying you're terribly upset that seandar is gone because of that seems rather silly to me.

Tuk's dead right. There's plenty of other places to go and enjoy. But they're not on Seanchan, and the thread was about Seanchan. But I still play LS and I enjoy what's left for it is.
