Wotmafia - Terror Among the Tuatha'an - THE DARK SIDE WINS

[Carlia]

The Sun rises with birds chirping and dogs playing.

A quick search of the camp reveals no corpses.

Children begin playing and lives go on.

It isnt until much later in the day it is noticed that someone is missing.


Natalia the Beggar has withdrawn into the forest.

Day 3 ends 8/17/18 10 PM EST

[Terinor]

Terinor stands alone beside a half drawn tent. Most of the camp seems more at ease having made it through the night without a loss. But a person disappearing sits odd in his mind. Surely around others and in the light of camp would be far safer than alone in the woods. Unless of course the person knew the woods were safer than camp.

[Rig]

Looking up from the campfire, the sun began to rise in the distance. Rig waited for the others to awaken before addressing the masses.

Pulling her blue shawl close, she began to speak:

"Tuatha'an people, I have made headway in my investigation. One of those among you serve the Shadow. As I was investigating the wagon of the one known as Octavio, I found a troubling script of trolloc tongue inside. As a Sedai of the Blue Ajah, I am here to protect you. Follow my lead, so we may destroy the Shadow and remove the taint of the Dark One from this place."

LYNCH OCTAVIO

[Octavio]

Octavio looks up from the campfire and listens to a stranger talk about her investigation. As he listens he recalls that he has never seen this person in camp before this very moment. She was not here for the cleanup of the death and carnage, she was not here for the first several nights afterward. "Where did this "investigation" take place out, out in the woods where Natalia the Begger has disappeared into?" he thinks. "If she was an Aes Sedai, why did she not help, why did she hide for the last 2 days?"

Finally she stops speaking and then, like a bolt out of the blue, Octavio hears his name called. 'What?" he speaks. Laughing slightly he looks at this stranger and says "I was in my wagon all night and unless you have the skills of a thief, you did not enter my wagon". How you can claim that I am a dark one is beyond me". Octavio continues "I have been here claiming the dead, working to protect the village. I, nor anyone else in this village has ever seen you before. And now you come from the same woods where we lost another just last night?"

Looking around Octavio can see that some people looked scared, however more are looking at this new stranger with doubt in their eyes.

[Astolfo]

I haven't seen anything to show one way to the other any person's guilt.
No Lynch!

[Corey]

Corey stirs in the morning to the ruckus of the mob calling for Octavio. Does anyone have any further evidence or any claims that would contradict Rig?

[Anor]

It's a hard call. Inaction favors the dark. So really we have 2 choices.

Trust Rig and see what the result it. If he was right we have a trusted source of information. If he was wrong then we just lynch him the next day.

Or do nothing and lose more.

[Rig]

If I am wrong, I'll take full responsibility. I am here to root out the Shadow. Doing nothing will mean more of the innocent will die. Lynch him and see the truth I tell.

[Riva]

As the morning sun breaks through the trees, Riva moves through the camp, handing out small wooden bowls filled with piping hot porridge. Turning back toward the large wagon, she hears a female voice address the crowd. Turning toward the voice, she notices the shawl of a Blue Ajah wrapped around the woman's shoulders. Frowning, Riva looks back and forth between Octavio and Rig, trying to decipher the truth. It's a bold move to claim one is working for the dark, but Aes Sedai are unable to lie...and the Blue is known for their ability to investigate.

If she were to agree with the Aes Sedai, and LYNCH OCTAVIO that could be considered participating in violence, which is against the way of the leaf.... but desperate times call for desperate measures and inaction may lead to more deaths.
