That is a great idea Elysia! Maybe even mobol a prompt when you call a gate or something? eg. Make sure to read the laws of the city and enjoy your stay in xxx or something.

Didn't the laws for most cities/nations get posted in game some time ago? unsure if it was in the squares, but i know we were told to shorten them so they could be put in game at least

There were only two clans who actually did that at my request, so only two got posted. Of course, they were the two best clans in the game who did it because... they did it. :)

Now all teasing aside, revisiting this is a grand idea and I hope you all do it this time!

I remember back in the day it was illegal for non-tower people in the tower zone (ie coulin, gravel path, inside tower) without a Gaidin, Aes Sedai or Valon escort. Since I've been back, I find it's not uncommon to see random people in this area. I chalked it up to just a change of rules while I was away. It'd be nice to know what the rules were in each city for sure.

Visitors are now allowed on the ground floor of the tower. Or so I've been told.

According to the information I was given as Novice, Hope Sedai, visitors are allowed on the ground floor unaccompanied, excepting the Hall of the Sitters, the Kitchens, the Pantry, the Mistress of Novices' Study, and the Training Salle, and are allowed into the Hall of the Sitters, the Kitchens, the Pantry, and other floors while accompanied by a member of the Tower, excepting the Living Quarters of Novices and Accepted. Unaccompanied visitors are advised to walk slowly and check their exits so that they do not unwittingly venture into a restricted portion of the ground floor of the Tower.
