Haven't played in awhile, but my jams were: FTL, Homeworld 1 & 2 Remastered, Starbound, and Max Payne 3. So nothing that actually requires my beast of a computer.

If you like the old space sims, Freespace 2 has a slick hd pack done by Hardlight. Takes a bit of fuckery to get it to work but well worth it for improvements on textures/sounds.

FTL is a deceptive god. I looks like it would be terrible, but it's one of my all-time favorite games and addictive as hell.
My steam library has too many damn games and I dare not add up the total hours played.

FTL, Endless Sky, ARK, World of Tanks, The Witcher series, XCom series, Middle-Earth, Fallout series, Borderlands, Darksiders, Shadowrun (+1 Nettle, though i still love the Sega Genesis version), All FarCrys, DayZ

Also, I am addicted to "adventure" games. The point/click puzzles (pre-Telltale Games)

Always on the lookout for recommendations.

Rentris, you should look up a Twitch/YouTube show called Mostly Walking by Day9, it is him and two other guys talking and playing point-and-clicks. You could probably get some great ideas from their list.
