*Phalz* stabs your body very hard.
My favorite part

Pretty much this. What we will ultimately end up with is the weave will end pk or it will annoy people when they die to it, but they'll stay because they outstack the opposition anyway. Just like the people who use status weaves and get trash talked and allegedly end pk. In reality you just find a way to kill those people anyway, even if they are annoying to play against. If hoa was really that good more people would use it. I don't use it because I have never honestly found it that good. Annoying yes, RNG death inducing yes sometimes, but when I think of game balance issues it's pretty low, especially when you're talking about an imm enforced ban.Stanislav wrote:Yet I dont like weaves being banished or adjusted just because someone thinks they need to be. If we going to get rid of all the 'lame' weaves then we should just restrct to fs and spikes.
One of those pinch your cheek moments.Kilgore wrote:Stanislav doesn't typically read forums and is pretty late to any party and a pretty early party crasher on any trend.Firimei Lang wrote:Might as well get it back next reprac..Don't see the point of all this PDW stuff.
I would appreciate it if you would roleplay your Ajah. I believe the White Ajah are supposed to be dedicated to logic (as a way of comprehending things absent from emotion)? The passive aggressive double periods and your complete lack of objectivity don't ever seem to help out any discussions.
Think there are a few names who have pledged not to use hammer of air. Stanislav is not one of them. If hammer of air frustrates you, don't use it. If you want to use hammer of air to frustrate other people, continue to use it.
The comparable arguments I see are hammer of air versus hurricane. Hurricane is a lot longer, but hurricane can be started with no one in the room, so can end up feeling like a no round weave and specifically is used to take advantage of worse communicators and worse PKers.
Neither of these skills are good for making better PK. But, regardless of whether people choose to use hurricane or hammer of air, I wish we had more people who roleplayed White Ajah characters.
As far as not factoring in db, I actually think this is a very good thing. If it did, you'd have a short weave that could bash absers 75% of the time and comboers 50%+ of the time... that would be nuts. 5% seems reasonable.Kryyg wrote:I believe the other concern is that HoA bash ignores all DB so it's not even a pure dodge issue, they are just the ones that get fucked the hardest. So you play dodge with the risk of being bashed a certain percentage per bash attempts but with HoA your entire set up is negated.
