I might want that most salty award after all!

Just did the math, I have 4 channelers total. (3 from Two Rivers that I statted specifically for 17 STR and 16 CON)

total hp lost: 171 (21, 47, 59, 44) (not counting the 67 more levels they could of gained 1-2 HP rolls)

kinda takes away the fun of having sick stats imo... I prided myself in being able to take a hit and keep on keeping on. Oh well, we shall adapt!

I love the change, and not just for CoL... :P

I only question whether the value of an abs channie just disappeared.... ?

Is every channie just going to be 16 18 19 17 13 or 15 19 19 18 13 now?

Wow Vampa is ruining the mud, things used to be good and now everything is getting worse and worse, this change is terrible because I was just thinking of logging on to play a female channeler but now that I know she can't have more than 280 hps it's not worth the effort, what a bad / boring mud. I am full of hate and it's all your fault everyone else. #NotAllMen

Kind of thought was neat to have abs channelers. But the high HP dodgey ones were painful. A way to have both? High Con or High Dex, but not both?

Yeah, something like making armor non-self-castable. Then again you'd just turn everyone combo..

Just cap con at 13-14, and if someone rolls a bit higher hp good for them. Having every fc out there with same stats and same hp with no way to improve is kind of bland.

We did the best we could with the tools we have. We recognize the imperfections and regret the impact on the previous niche of abs channelers, but this was deemed the best solution overall. If a new solution comes up in the future, I'm sure we will re-evaluate.

lets just all remember back in the day, when jams bashed zangief and smashed him with two lightning bolts for the win on winding road to take back some unique, i forget what it was but.. abs channelers, gone but not forgotten haha.

i am bummed though. abs fcs were cool, and they died alot, but that was the point.. you were a poorly statted hunter with magic.
