Re: The Month of Remembrance..
Something we agree on. I really miss Seeras, often brings me to tears.
Re: The Month of Remembrance..
I miss Khaliana and hope she is well.
Re: The Month of Remembrance..
I certainly miss Seeras!
I also miss some of the old n pkers who don't play anymore (Oak, Maple, Wallach for example). Katherine, who I got very close to on my tower alt.

Re: The Month of Remembrance..
Laolin Rainor surveyed the road from his perched position above a small tavern in southwestern Tar Valon. He hated entering this city full of marath'damane, but Bekkar Altani had trusted the task to him alone. As he waited for the tavern crowd to begin heading home for the night, he looked up to see a raven, clutching a small ribbon, fly across the crescent moon. It was a sign any seanchan would know, and signs were never to be ignored.
To remember.
While trying to continue his watch of the road, he remembered first leaving his father's leather shop north of Seandar to join the Imperial Assistants. He remembered it growing into the Imperial Army, where he joined the Mandarb a'Shar. He remembered Tiq Slakto, an old man with stiff joints, that taught him to horse hop across the land. He remembered seeing Karif ride into battle on his raken while juggling colorful balls. He remembered the reclamation of Kirendad and the devastating loss of the Ever Victorious Army's navy and the seanchan continent.
He chuckled as he said softly to himself, "Remember when Takd stabbed me and ran me haggard out of Tanchico and took all of my stuff?"
A voice behind him said, "Ooooooh, I 'member".
Laolin turned around just in time to see Takd's face before a dagger was buried in his heart.
As Takd pulled the dagger free and let Laolin collapse onto the rooftop, he said, " 'Member the Circle of Ravens and the time I killed a seanchan and an aes sedai in the same night?'
Laolin took one last breath and said with a smile, "Oooh, I 'member." He could only hope that Takd would keep his word to kill a marath'damane that night, but as death crept in, his final thoughts went to Raefnal. He wondered if she would 'member him, because he 'membered...

Re: The Month of Remembrance..
A cold wind whips the curtains. A slight shiver runs up her spine as she reads the wonderful memories.
Her heart rejoices in the wonderfully created memories this last month brought.
Ali ties ribbons on her feet and wrap them around her wrists. "Time for another month of remeber and appreciating our ancestors."
She smiles deeply as she spots Trysstianna heading up the stairs. That girl has hundreds of years of knowledge to be listened too...

Re: The Month of Remembrance..
Ravhaiel quietly dusts off the spattered flecks on her cloak from her long journey and glides across the floor into the heart of Tar Valon.
Had it really been 15 years since she last organized an adventure? My, how she missed some of her comrades who had come and gone (Mira, Argayle, many many others, her Gaidin). Passing the fountain outside of the White Tower brought back strong memories of talking with Ciel, her close friend and confidante. It was amazing to think how she and Ciel had been raised to the Shawl on the same day those many years ago and now her dear friend lay in the Creator's arms.
Shaking her head slightly, she let the sadness pass and embraced once again the happy memories of friends past while smiling slightly at the friends and mischief she was looking forward to making in the future.
(ooc: Yup...I'm back, friends. Most of you probably don't know me but I look forward to meeting you. I used to be a smob train queen, I'm a relatively lousy pker (be quiet, Razhak!
and I'll help almost anyone anytime unless they're a complete arse
. I look forward to jumping back in the game!! Oh...and I'm a guy in real life if you were curious. I'm Ravhaiel on Discord as well so feel free to introduce yourself if you're into loyal, goofy, fun and adventurous friends
.
