Q & A
Q & A
Hello,
I don't know how many new/less experienced players we actually have. Either way decided to make a post where you can ask a question about any in game mechanic, thing, place, tactic, and I (or someone else as capable) can answer.
Questions such as "how do I solo smob as an xx". Information about tics, pulses, aggro. Navigating the ways, quirks of channelling. Getting back on your feet if you've lost everything.
Even scripting problems, questions.
Only stupid questions are unasked ones!

Re: Q & A
I'll start off with an example question.
How do you time aggro pulses without a pet? (And if you don't know how that's done, when you order a pet/mob to sit, they will always stand back up on the same pulse a mob would aggro).
I do this with a tictimer, and the tiniest amount of maths. If using Adael's Mudlet package, or any of the ZMud packages out there, chances are you'll have a reliable and accurate tictimer.
These tend to be 60-62 seconds. From what I've noticed, the aggro pulses are at intervals of tic/6. This says to me an aggro should occur at 50, 40, 30, 20, and 10 seconds, then on the tic itself. So I'll look at my timer, if it's at 12 seconds, stand still. 9 seconds is go. You won't always be perfectly right as there can be long tics.

Re: Q & A
You have 127(400) hit and 133(165) movement points.
You have scored 108500001 experience points and 11 quest points.
You need 1727319362 exp to level and 19 to rank.
You have amassed 74 Turn points to date.
You have played 11 days and 7 hours (real time).
how do you get to see your turn points?

Re: Q & A
Both the '<<WEST<<' and numbers in front of the horses are client side scripts. Depending on your client you can find the scripts possibly on this forum.adrien wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 5:00 pm* R HP:Hurt MV:Strong > n

I do not use the numbers one myself, so I can not help you there. The one with the arrows is part of Adaels collection of scripts.
Re: Q & A
If you have more than 0 Turn Points (TPs) it will show when you do the 'score' command.adrien wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 5:05 pmYou have 127(400) hit and 133(165) movement points.

TPs are mainly gained from killing other players.
Re: Q & A
Yeah, it is 85% Track. And that applies to manual tracking regardless of class. I have had that on a channeler before and they get it as well with sufficient percentage practiced.
