Wheel of Time MUD

I've been planning on kicking off a structured RP Campaign here in game, depending on interest.

There were a number of times in the past few weeks that I've heard from people who would like to RP, but they're running into problems.
They don't know who with, or when, or when they approach people if it will be received well. There are a fair few (myself included) that RP, but the timing isn't always right. With that said, if you are interested in joining a semi-regular RP Campaign, please post here or send me a PM. I need some information:

1. The alignment of the character you'll be bringing. (Lawful Good, Chaotic Evil)
2. If the character is clanned, what is their clan?
3. What day / timeslot works best for you?

You don't have to be amazing. You don't have to be confident in your abilities. You just have to have a desire to develop your character beyond the usual hack-and-slash that this game sees.

Question: Are there rules etc about what we can/can't ask or say? How much/any backstory should we have?

Love the idea of something to stimulate more RP, but could you say more about what this will entail? E.g., why do you need a pre-defined alignment for the character?

@Isabel: No rules. Just walk in with the knowledge that your character would already possess (Example, Isabel likely isn't an expert on ter'an great, or Two Rivers agricultural practices.).

@Raeza: I have a number of directions the storyline that I have planned could go, depending on A) the makeup of the group (clanwise) and B) the alignment of the persons involved.

1. Mostly Lawful Good (though tending towards Neutral in some areas -- logic first and foremost and all).

2. White Ajah

3. I'm in the UK, so later than 8 pm server or before 5 am server is generally not great. Otherwise, I have a fairly flexible schedule over the summer, especially with some advance notice.

I would totally join, but my play time is sporadic right now; prepping for a trial at the end of July.

This sounds like it could be a lot of fun.

3. Generally after 9pm server till 10:30pm during the week. Weekends are more flexible. (I know I'm not giving you much to work with here but I can't stay awake late like I used to anymore).
