Ismael says 'the Prophet bless you'

Village of Alindaer
Here you find a peaceful haven away from the steady flow of mule-driven
wagons, travellers and marching patrols. According to the townsfolk, the
village of Alindaer has lain beside the river almost as long as Tar Valon
has occupied its island. Yet, its been completely sacked and put to the
torch on many occasions during various wars against the Aes Sedai.
[ obvious exits: E ]
A large stone well is here.
Ismael the Redeemer is standing here, riding a |1|.gray palfrey.
Lansin al'Farath is standing here, riding a |2|.gray palfrey.
|3|.A warhorse is here, stamping his feet impatiently, being ridden by you.
A grand master of the guild ambles by with confidence.

Lansin bites the end of the vial and nods.

Lansin says 'and blessings be on you!'

Serge gives a package of iron rations to Lansin.

Lansin bows deeply.

Lansin eats a package of iron rations.

Serge says 'and I bring snacks!'

Lansin stops riding a gray palfrey.

A grand master of the guild ambles by with confidence.

Ismael looks at Lansin.

Lansin smiles happily.

Ismael smiles happily.

Ismael says 'Brother Serge will do the talking.'

Lansin gives a thin vial of yellow fluid to Ismael.

Lansin winks suggestively.

Serge nods at him.

The sky starts to get cloudy.

Ismael looks at Serge.

Ismael gasps in astonishment.

Serge says 'First, Lansin, tell me about yourself as you seem to be a lone spectator!'

Lansin says 'oh me?'

Serge nods in agreement.

Serge smiles happily.

Lansin scratches his head.

Lansin says 'Well..'

Lansin says 'I'm just a farmer really.'

Lansin says 'But I never like missing a show or a sermon.'

Lansin raises his hands above his head.

Lansin says 'Praise be to him.'

Ismael nods in agreement.

Serge says 'Wonderful!'

Lansin says 'So I wanted to come.'

Ismael says 'You are the working class heroes this Pattern will be reshaped for.'

Lansin nods in agreement.

Lansin blinks rapidly.

Jaimz has arrived from the east, riding a |4|.gray palfrey.

Jaimz stops riding a gray palfrey.

Ismael smiles happily.

Ismael says 'Brother Jaimz.'

Serge says 'Today we will be doing something slightly different, as I was expecting a larger audience! Apparently I have more work to do gathering such an audience..'

Serge says 'But thats for another time!'

Serge says 'I will be debating with you the prophecy of the Dragon!'

Jaimz says 'Serge, I ask you hold these for me. I hate even dirtying my hands with these weapons of war. The Lord Dragon states I should always be ready to defend myself, but I will only use them versus the dark. '

Ruddy amber hues streak across the vanishing horizon as night falls.
Serge nods at him.

Jaimz gives you a set of steel sai.

Serge puts a set of steel sai in a backpack.

Serge burps.

Jaimz says 'I see no reason to be armed here.'

Serge says 'We will start with the beginning of the Karaethon Cycle, and we will reflect on it's meaning.'

Ismael sheathes a feathered Kandori paramerion into a heron-engraved scabbard.

Ismael smiles happily.

Lansin looks around.

Lansin stops using a great claymore.

Serge takes a seat on the ground, crossing his legs.

Lansin says 'praise be..'

Serge sits down.

The night has begun.

Jaimz says 'I have made I study of it during my days at home. What would you like to discuss?'

Jaimz says 'I believe we not even mention the start, for we already see it spreading across the land. '

Serge says 'And it shall come to pass that what men made shall be shattered, and the Shadow shall lie across the Pattern of the Age, and the Dark One shall once more lay his hand upon the world of man. Women shall weep and men quail as the nations of the earth are rent like rotting cloth. Neither shall anything stand or abide...'

Jaimz nods at Serge.

Serge says 'How do you interpret this passage?'

Lansin looks impressed, his mouth hanging open.

Lansin raises his hand and says, "Me?"

Serge nods at him.

Serge smiles brightly, legs still crossed.

Jaimz says 'Why don't you tell us what you think Lansin?'

Lansin says 'Oh I don't rightly know, that's a lot of words there.'

Lansin says 'It seems bad'

Lansin points at the ground.

Lansin says 'very bad'

Lansin nods in agreement.

Jaimz says 'All types will need to be called to fight under the banner of the Lord Dragon Lansin. '

Jaimz says 'To know you do not understand, but still answer the call, is admirable. '

Lansin closes his eyes and raises his hands high.

Lansin says 'ypraise be'

Serge says 'That is a common interpretation of this passage. That is is outright bad.'

Serge says 'To me, this part of the prophecy speaks louder than most.'

Serge says 'I view it in a more..optimistic light!'

Lansin says 'MMm'

Lansin says 'speak brother.'

Serge says 'For instance, "And it shall come to pass that what men made shall be shattered," to be speaks of not just the shattering of what men have made.'

Serge says 'It speaks to me of rebuilding. Creation.'

Serge says 'It is a common belief that you must break something to reshape it.'

Serge says 'The next part is darker, of course.'

Lansin says 'Sometimes when a calf is bein' born it gets all tangled up. Sometimes ya gotta cut open the mama to continue the line.'

Jaimz says 'That is hopeful Serge, but too hopeful. Do not like the Lord Dragons glory shine so brightly you ignore all that happens around us. '

Serge nods at him.

Serge says 'I do not believe in pure happy endings, Brother Jaimz.'

Jaimz says 'We already see the division the shadow brings upon the world. We need not look further than the murder of the innocent down in the spine. Tear and Mayene fighting over territory that is not rightfully theirs, killing innocents and children to do so. '

It starts to rain.

Lansin sits back eyes wide.

Serge says 'The rest speaks of the Shadow, and how the Dark One shall touch the pattern with his own hand.'

Lansin says 'Mmm'

Lansin says 'say it again brother Serge'

Lansin holds his arm up high, palm to the sky.

Serge says 'and the Shadow shall lie across the Pattern of the Age, and the Dark One shall once more lay his hand upon the world of man.'

Lansin begins to sway, nodding.

Ismael stops riding a gray palfrey.

Ismael starts riding a gray palfrey.

Serge says 'As we have seen all around us, this is perhaps a common sign of the coming of the Lord Dragon.'

Lansin says 'Praise be unto him!'

Serge says 'The Shadow grows bolder each day, sending their troops into the Caralain Grass, outwards to Andor.'

Jaimz says 'Yes, but into the heart he thrusts his sword, into the heart to hold their hearts. '

Serge nods at him.

Lansin says 'We thrust our hearts to you Lord!'

The sun rises.

Lansin holds his hands higher. Prouder.

Serge says 'Women shall weep and men quail as the nations of the earth are rent like rotting cloth. Neither shall anything stand or abide...'

Serge says 'This final passage speaks to me of other parts of the prophecy.'

Ismael nods in agreement.

The day has begun.
Lightning starts to show in the sky.

Jaimz says 'The Tower does not understand, they will not believe, until they see him dancing the sword in dreams and midst. They will not believe until the last days are knocking on their very door. '

Serge nods at him.

Ismael nods gravely.

Jaimz looks at the lightning showing in the sky.

Lansin says 'We must not bow to bad things!'

Jaimz sighs loudly.

Ismael says 'Unfortunately, we do not have the luxury of that kind of ignorance.'

Jaimz says 'They can not see the signs, I know they have studied it as much as I have. '

Lansin says 'Say it louder for those in the back!'

Lansin kneels to the ground his hands spread wide.

Serge says 'It is important that we steel ourselves and our faith for the future. Even if some believe that the signs of His coming are not there, it is clear as day.'

Lansin nods in agreement.

Jaimz nods in agreement.

Jaimz says 'This is why we must accept any who will fall under his banner, as it is fortold. '

Jaimz looks at Ismael.

Jaimz says 'Any.'

Ismael nods at Jaimz.

Serge nods with respect toward Brother Jaimz.

Serge says 'Tell me, Lansin, how do you feel?'

Jaimz says 'Have you seen to the injured and taking their names as requested Ismael? '

Serge says 'What are your opinions on the matter?'

Lansin says 'Well..'

Jaimz says 'Even if the Tower refuses to take my personal petition, I must move foward with the one on their behalf. '

Ismael says 'I have been seeing them, taking their names, and apologizing on behalf of the Prophet for their becoming collateral damage in violence intended towards us.'

Lansin says 'I'm just a farmer, I don't have much opinions outside of what I grow and tend too.'

Jaimz nods at Ismael.

Lansin says 'But they were pretty words, and I do hope you boys come around for supper sometime.'

A warhorse lays its ears flat against its neck.
Lansin smiles happily.

Serge nods, thoughtful.

Ismael looks up as a pigeon drops a rolled up letter on his head.

Jaimz says 'Please provide me the list, I will meet and speak with them personally when I have time. '

Ismael reads the letter.

Ismael thinks hard.

Ismael eats a raw side of meat.

Serge says 'Do you believe in the coming of the Lord Dragon, Lansin?'

The Wheel of Time turns...

Ismael says 'we have a mission, brothers'

Ismael says 'I will go on a head.'

Ismael says 'Ahead.'
Serge nods at him.

Ismael says 'And call for you.'

Ismael leaves east riding a gray palfrey.

Ismael has arrived from the east, riding a |5|.gray palfrey.

Ismael claps Lansin on the back.

Lansin says 'My breaks about over, I better get back.'

Lansin says 'Not sure who you mean.'

Lansin says 'Lots of al'Farath's around here.'

Serge says 'Of course, I will take no more of your time!'

Lansin thanks Serge heartily.

Lansin says 'Lovely sermon father. Thank you for letting me come hear you speak.'

Lansin bows before Serge.

Serge says 'Feel free to digest and think on this! More opportunities such as this will arise.'

Serge bows before him.

Jaimz nods in agreement.

Lansin nods in agreement.

Lansin says 'I will!'

Lansin waves.

Lansin beams a smile at Jaimz.

Lansin leaves east.
