Point of view: Third person (Nori's primarily in first person interaction)
Main character: Nori
Major participant: Willard Gray

Passerby: Sadie
Passerby: Athroc
Passerby: Karens

------

Sadie curtseys gracefully.

Karens has arrived from the north.

Karens smiles happily.

Karens hugs Sadie.

Karens hugs Nori.

Sadie beams a smile at Karens.

Sadie looks at Karens.

Nori curtseys to her audience.

Nori says 'hello!'

Nori says 'greetings, Accepteds.'

Nori blinks her eyes innocently.

Williard has arrived from the east, riding a gray palfrey.

Nori says 'do you know .. ahh '

Nori says 'perfect.'

Sadie looks at Williard.

Sadie beams a smile at Williard.

Nori says 'a Professional thief catcher has arrived.'

Nori says 'I've heard about these.'

Karens smiles happily.

Williard smiles happily.

Nori walks right up to Williard giving him a proper look up and down.

Karens says 'Fighting the good fight, thanks you Williard Gray!'

Nori says 'good sir.'

Nori says 'a moment of your time please.'

Nori says 'I am tasked with capturing mouse, mice, mices.'

Williard ponders life, the universe, and everything.

Williard says 'I have a moment to spare.'

Nori says 'I require some expert advice on apprehending these "criminals" Laras has mentioned.'

Nori says 'I can only find rats, but not a single mice. We're almost positive they're coming in from outside.'

Nori scowls.

Nori says 'sneaky pests. '

Williard says 'Well, I don't necessarily have any expertise in hunting mice..but I suppose it is probably similar to hunting rats.'

Nori eyes Williards garb once more, taking a gander at the various paraphernalia of a thiefcatcher.

Sadie leaves south.

Nori says 'a great hunter once told me, you need to be where the mice are.'

Nori says 'but, alas. I have no idea where a mice would want to be in a city such as large as Valon.'

Nori puts her hands on her hips as she stares up at Williard.

Williard says 'Same as rats, I'd assume they'd prefer to nest somewhere unseen.'

Nori frowns.

Nori says 'perhaps your right.'

Nori says 'I have a room mate, and she is very furtive.'

Nori says 'perhaps I should ask her.'

Nori thinks really hard.

Nori says 'what does that do.'

Nori points at a triple bladed knife.

Williard says 'I'd recommend the library, perhaps.'

Williard chuckles politely.

Williard says 'It kills trollocs, I suppose. Or frightens criminals.'

Nori says 'Queen's guard Geom had a different kind of letter opener, why do all the boys like letter openers.'

Nori says 'you know, Geom thinks that I would make an excellent thief catcher some day.'

Nori holds her head up proudly, clearly basking in that accolade.

Williard says 'Well, I suppose anyone could take up the case of catching thieves!'

Nori says 'he has a paper cutter just like yours, but his is silvery. A basilique or something along those lines, I’m still learning about all these letter openers that boys carry.'

Nori says 'you know how I would do it?'

Nori says 'if you were a thief, standing right here, right now .. and I was a thiefcatcher.'

Nori says 'how do you think, I would apprehend you.'

Nori peers up at williard curiously awaiting his response.

Williard says 'Depends on how you want to be known as a thief catcher, I suppose.'

Nori allows a little smile to creep across her chin, clearly enjoying the scenario playing out before her.

Williard says 'Would you like to ask questions first, or later?'

Nori says 'I always do first and ask questions last.'

Nori nods in agreement, clearly confident in her approach.

Williard says 'I personally prefer to ask questions first if the thief in hand doesn't appear to be a threat.'

Athroc has arrived from the west, riding a gray palfrey.

Nori says 'what if he's a big scary thief and he's a danger to society.'

Athroc gasps in astonishment.

Nori says 'like that guy.'

Athroc knuckles his forehead, honoring Nori.

Nori says 'he kind of looks big and scary, like a thief.'

Williard says 'I'd probably end up asking questions later, and bringing justice where it was needed.'

Williard chuckles politely.

Athroc leaves south riding a gray palfrey.

Nori says 'that fellow did look much like how I imagined an actual thief for what it's worth.'

Williard chuckles politely.

Nori contemplates that thought momentarily.

Nori says 'so odd. I've never actually seen a real thief.'

Nori shrugs her shoulders.

Nori says 'I think I would hide in that fountain, disguised.'

Williard says 'Luckily they seem to be a dying breed, although it doesn't allow me to do much work.'

Nori says 'you know the disguise I would use so you'd never see me if I had to catch you?'

Williard says 'The Thiefbane don't forget a face, so I'd be concerned if any disguise you used was particularly effective.'

Nori says 'I'd hide in the fountain, and I'd use a bamboo straw to breathe from inside my personally tailored fish costume. I'd swim around and watch you through the rippling waters until it was time
to strike!'

Nori lunges at Williard suddenly.

Williard chuckles politely.

Nori bursts into a fit of giggles.

Nori says 'then you'd be like .. oh no, a fish is attacking me!'

Nori says 'and there'd be a big ole wrestling match. Some real fishy business.'

Williard says 'Ever tried wrestling a fish?'

Nori continues to describe the obviously imaginary scenario between spurts of laughter.

Nori claps Williard on the back.

Williard says 'I don't recommend it, slippery bastards.'

Nori says 'only one time.'

Nori says 'I saw a fishmonger lose a fight down at the docks.'

Nori giggles.

Nori says 'he got pulled in and we had to fish him out.'

Nori slaps her knees recalling the sight.

Williard chuckles politely.

Nori says 'get it?'

Nori says 'fished him out!'

Williard says 'Perhaps you'd make a good gleeman.'

Nori beams a bright innocent smile, clearly enjoying her time with you.

Nori says 'oh I uhh.'

Nori quiets suddenly.

Nori says 'I kind of have a hard time reading.'

Williard says 'I hear they're always looking for new talent.'

Nori mutters something under her breath about nobody likes people that can’t read and write good, specially glee folk.

Nori appears shy all of a sudden, staring at her slippers.

Nori says 'you think?'

Williard says 'I've never seen a Gleeman read anything, personally. So I don't think any of them have an advantage on you.'

Nori peers up at you, some sliver of hope rebuilding her confidence.

Nori says 'well maybe..'

Nori's cheeks are burning.

Nori says 'I have to do lots of stuff when I grow up.'

Williard says 'However, I do recommend keeping up your studies and whatever pertains to being in the White Tower.'

Nori says 'I'm supposed to be a forrester, a thief catcher, the Queen of Murandy, and I guess I have to make time to tell stories as a glee person.'

Nori says 'well, yeah I live here so I'm going to be the best Aes Sedai ever one day.'

Nori says 'if I keep studying and doing good in school.'

Nori seems very sure of herself.

Williard says 'a jack of all trades isn't a bad thing to strive for'

Nori says 'Aes Sedai know everything.'

Williard claps Nori on the back.

Nori says 'I think.'

Williard says 'Well, almost everything I'm sure.'

Nori splits a tiny grin.

Williard chuckles politely.

Nori curtseys to her audience.

Nori says 'well.'

Nori says 'this has been good for me. I have never met a thief catcher personally.'

Nori says 'I hope you come back and visit.'

Williard says 'Well, I will be going now. Maybe I'll find some mice for you to practice your fish-arate on.'

Williard chuckles politely.

Nori says 'I have to live here so I can't go off on adventures or helping you catch thieves.'

Williard nods in agreement.

Nori says 'I'll work on that costume.'

Nori says 'you better watch out Mister, any large body of water and I could be lurking'

Nori nudges you, obviously tongue in cheek.

Williard shivers uncomfortably.

Williard waves.
