In the Private Quarters
This is a very tidy room, lined with neatly made bunks and sparkling clean.
Jurien the Innkeeper must clean this area constantly. The floor is scrubbed
clean and the wood shines with a glowing patina from years of travel and
care. A few pieces of furniture stand in the center of the room to be used
by Wisdoms and students alike.
A crumpled note lies on the floor.
[ obvious exits: N E S ] [ S: Woodendoor ]
A fragile vial filled with dark red liquid is here.
A brown sack has been left here.
An old hoe with a worn handle has been laid here.
A small, somewhat rickety table wobbles on unsteady legs.
A chair made of red oak rests next to the table. [2]
Zea al'Atha'an, a Mostly Retired Wisdom is standing here.
Jurien the Innkeeper stands here inspecting the quarters.

Emily pokes Zea.

Zea says 'I said'

Emily pokes her in the ribs.

Zea has arrived from the west.

Zea looms over Emily in a dominating fashion.

Zea looms over Emily in a dominating fashion.

Zea looms over Emily in a dominating fashion.

Emily smiles happily.

Zea leaves west.

Zea bellows 'I am very old!'

Zea bellows 'Leave me alone!'

Zea arrives from the east.

Zea mutters to herself in complete disgust.

Zea adjusts her skirts with a twitch.

Emily says 'At least you look the part!'

Zea says 'Compliments will get you everywhere, girl.'

Emily says 'I know, that's how I get the discounts at the Tavern.'

Emily rubs her tummy, 'All you can eat Turkey Legs...mmmm...'

Zea arches a gray eyebrow.

Zea says 'I heard it was some other way...'

Emily drinks the water.

Emily says 'I think you need your ears checked again, dearie. You must be thinking of someone else.'

Zea looks at Emily.

Zea says 'Not from what I hear!'

Zea says 'Neela gossips, even to old women like me.'

Zea says 'A flipskirt, she says!'

Zea says 'Worse than Thena, she says!'

Emily says 'Clearly she is projecting. I can't believe you would trust that Apprentice over your own dear Sister!'

Emily waves a hand in the air in a flippant motion.

Emily says 'Oh, clearly she has gone daft if she has made that comparison.'

Emily rubs the outside of her apron affectionately.

Emily says 'My vice is very clearly gluttony.'

Zea snort dismissively.

Zea says 'Neela couldn't sleep in the stables because her face scared the horses so bad.'

Zea says 'No way she could get a discount at a tavern!'

Zea says 'Maybe for not drinking in the tavern...'

Zea taps her chin as though an idea just dawned on her.

Emily says 'Rumor has it, One time an Andoran tried to put a harness on poor Neela.'

Zea nods at Emily.

Zea says 'Andorans don't know anything about horse flesh'

Zea says 'Neela is best made into glue, not ridden.'

Emily says 'That makes sense, she has managed to stick around this long.'

Zea nods at Emily.

Emily chuckles at her own pun.

Zea says 'Oh was that a joke?'

Zea says 'I hate jokes.'

Zea frowns, the creases in her face multiplying.

Kashvi has arrived from the north.

Zea says 'Wisdoms used to be serious women.'

Kashvi snuggles up to Zea.

Emily says 'Maybe if you tried making one occasionally, you wouldn't hate them so much.'

Zea says 'Not jokesters!'

Zea glares around her.

Zea says 'Kashvi is a serious wisdom!'

Kashvi nods in agreement.

Zea nods at Kashvi.

Kashvi says 'Seriously!'

Emily says 'I see Kashvi about, but I don't know her well.'

Emily peers closely at her, trying to figure her out.

Zea says 'Emily was just telling me about how she uses her charms to get discounts at the tavern.'

Zea looks at Kashvi.

Kashvi says 'A properly beat brow... I mean instructed tavern doesn't require charms'

Kashvi tugs her braid.

Emily says 'Whatever gets you a turkey leg.'

Kashvi says 'You don't find you get a bit TOO much turkey leg with charms?'

Kashvi winks suggestively at Emily.

Emily says 'I think it's clear why I am there.'

Emily stands up to show her full stature.

Zea says 'Well, this has been horrible!'

Zea says 'You all smell like herbs'

Kashvi comforts Zea.

Jurien the Innkeeper helps Zea into her private chamber.

Kashvi snickers softly.
