Chloro Sedai and Wisdom Emily have a conversation about current events and the uses of Sulphur.

Log session starting at 11:41:03 on Sunday, 25 September 2022.

A Quiet House
This is a neat and well arranged house set in the middle of the city. The
house is well furnished, and the room is centered on a large table. A
couch and several chairs surround the table. Bookshelves are stuffed
full with various tomes. The door lies to the south.

Zone: Whitebridge
Door north: Woodendoor
You feel an odd disturbance in the Pattern here.
The corpse of a rat is lying here.
Emily the Senior Wisdom is resting here.
Beathas Navinen, the Wisdom of Whitebridge stands at the ready.

Chloro smiles inclining her head in greeting.

A Wisdom wipes her hands on her apron.

Chloro says 'Good day wisdom, I hope the light shines on Whitebridge.'

Emily shakes off a far-off look.

Emily says 'Oh! An Aes Sedai, here in White Bridge of all places!'

A Wisdom inspects a jar of herbs.

Chloro chuckles politely.

Emily leans in closely 'Are you here on official business? I won't tell.'

Emily points over to Beathas.

Emily says 'I can't speak for her, though.'

Chloro says 'It has been some time since I have visited this hut. Nothing as devious as that, Penzei's talk with Vhalerie has perked my interest.'

A Wisdom washes her hands.

Beathas hurumphs and places her hands on her hips in affront ( Emily )

A Wisdom inspects a jar of herbs.

Emily says 'Vhalerie...the Wisdom of Hindersnap. I don't make it over there very often, for some very practical reasons, I tell you.'

Beathas corrects emily on vhaleries villages name ( Emily )

Chloro says 'Wisdoms do heal their fair share of wounds and unlike some of my sisters I view them as essential.'

Emily banters with Beathas 'Yes, yes, that is what I said.'

Beathas rolls her eyes ( Emily )

Chloro looks to Beathas then winks at Emily. "I have my own back in the Tower."

Emily says 'I don't have training in the Tower, speak clearly what you mean, please.'

A Wisdom wipes her hands on her apron.

Chloro says 'I have my own sister in the Tower that enjoys being correct. That is what I meant.'

Emily nods at herself, her plaid apron dangly loosely against her body shifts at the action.

A Wisdom carries some towels in her arms.

Emily says 'Well, as an Aes Sedai you must always be correct to, dontcha?'

Emily stops using a lantern.

Cloro says 'The main reason for my visit is one of offering rare ingredients I know wisdoms use. I have been studying Volcanoes of late and this mineral powder is vast there.'

Chloro gets a chunk of pale yellow sulphur from a small purse.

Emily shakes her lantern vigorously, trying to get more of the oil on the wick.

Emily says 'I can tell what THAT is by the smell!'

Emily squishes up her nose in distaste.

Emily says 'Beathas, my gloves please.'

Chloro says 'Indeed though as I have learned, not all healing balms smell like roses.'

Beathas hands emily a set of thick working gloves ( Emily )

Emily puts on a thick pair of work gloves with practiced ease.

Chloro offers the crystal to the wisdom.

Emily says 'If you'll hand it over, I can give it a look-see.'

Chloro give's a chunk of pale yellow sulphur to Emily.

Emily turns the piece of sulphur over in her gloved hand.

Emily says 'Hmmmmmm.'

Chloro removes her gloves and placing them into the same purse drawing the string tight. "I do hope it can be of use."

Emily continues to inspect the specimen for a few more moments.

Emily says 'Thank you for the sulphur.'

A Wisdom wipes her hands on her apron.

Emily stops using a silver serving platter.

Emily grabs a mixing flask.

Chloro says 'You are most welcome; I know it can be hard to come by.'

Emily says 'I'll grind it into powder and use it as an anti-bactarial. It is not pleasant, but it is effective.'

A Wisdom inspects a jar of herbs.

Beathas corrects emily again that sulphur is most certainly not pleasant ( Emily )

Chloro says 'While I am here, is there anything I can assist with? '

Emily nods along absently to Beathas.

Emily taps her chin.

Emily says 'If you wish safety, you can come with me north'

Emily knocks on the Woodendoor.

A Wisdom mixes some herbs into a poultice.

Emily leaves north. ^^

A little boy bellows 'Argh, a trolloc! Someone save me!!!'

In the Private Quarters
This is a very tidy room, lined with neatly made bunks and sparkling clean.
Jurien the Innkeeper must clean this area constantly. The floor is scrubbed
clean and the wood shines with a glowing patina from years of travel and
care. A few pieces of furniture stand in the center of the room to be used
by Wisdoms and students alike.

A crumpled note lies on the floor.

A small, somewhat rickety table wobbles on unsteady legs.
A chair made of red oak rests next to the table. [2]
Emily the Senior Wisdom is standing here.
Jurien the Innkeeper stands here inspecting the quarters.

The Woodendoor closes quietly.

Emily nods in agreement.

Chloro says 'I believe they are alone. I can only sense 1'

Emily says 'They likely don't have the numbers to trouble an Aes Sedai of your stature, but a trolloc's club is not conducive for a conversation.'

Chloro chuckles "I have known a wisdom or two that was quite skilled in using a frying pan to ward off a trolloc. Frieda comes to mind."

Emily says 'That being said, I can't think of anything. I was going to run some errands, collect some herbs, and then be done with the day.'

Chloro says 'Well then, I shall return to the Tower. Please to do not hesitate to call should you need aid.'

Emily says 'We do have those. Dory and Malika come to mind.'

Emily says 'Of course, let me find those keys...'

Jurien taps emily on the shoulder dangling some keys in the air ( Emily )

Emily says 'exit'

Jurien the Innkeeper produces a set of keys from somewhere beneath her apron.

Jurien the Innkeeper unlocks the woodendoor.
Jurien the Innkeeper opens the Woodendoor.

Before a Well-Kept House
The cobbled streets of Whitebridge bend around the curve of the city walls,
the wide lane dusty and worn. To the north lies a large, well-presented
house, a bundle of herbs neatly bound with a blue and white checked ribbon
hanging in the window. The street continues to the east and west.
