Tiled floors and carvings on the doors testify to the wealth of this small
eatery. Fine dishes are served at reasonable rates, and every table is
crowded at the meal times of the day and night. Good ale flows from taps in
the kitchen, and serving maids bustle about to fill orders. A small
platform sits in the middle of the room, a place for a musician to perform
for customers.

Brie's eyes twinkle as sparks begin to fountain from the bark, flowing into the resemblance of a weeping willow.

Crenna says 'That is the prize list for this session.'

Brie throws something into the shower of sparks and the tree blossoms with tiny pink flowers. Soon the petals begin to fall and deep green leaves take their place.

Auriona says 'My breath is only slightly flammable.'

Brie holds her hand out and catches the first shimmering leaf to fall on a gloved palm, then flicks her wrist and lets it dissolve away into nothing. The leaves continue to fall from the tree until the branches are bare once more.

Crenna says 'After each winner chooses something, then the kissing judges will choose something...then we'll open it up to participants.'

Dare leaps into the room with a forward flip.

Brie reaches out and touches the tree. It bursts into bright red flame and disappears, leaving a smudge of ash on the ground.

Rixie gasps in astonishment.

Auriona watches Brie's show, entranced.

Crenna says 'As a thank you for making this event a success.'

Tiled floors and carvings on the doors testify to the wealth of this small
eatery. Fine dishes are served at reasonable rates, and every table is
crowded at the meal times of the day and night. Good ale flows from taps in
the kitchen, and serving maids bustle about to fill orders. A small
platform sits in the middle of the room, a place for a musician to perform
for customers.

Brie gets an old bronze lantern etched with flames from an oilskin bag.

Dare whispers something to Sybrina.

Brie opens the lantern door, and places a small green bead inside.

Brie pulls a striker from her sleeve and draws it along her wristband in a smooth motion, igniting it. She lights the lantern and carefully latches it.

Sybrina holds the firesticks next to a nearby lantern for a better look.

Brie's eyes twinkle as the bead slowly begings to melt. Suddenly it uncurls with a snap into the shape of a miniature dart frog. The frog hops from pane to pane, sticky feet leaving tiny prints on the inside of the glass.

Sybrina looks at Brie.

Crenna holds Aldwyn's hand.

Dare uncorks a flask and pours it over his cloak soaking it the best he can.

Brie moves the lantern slightly so that your view is better as the frog leaps towards the flame and explodes in a shower of jade glitter.

Sybrina smiles.

Sybrina sits down.

Brie douses the lantern and tucks it away.

Aldwyn smiles at Crenna.

Carlia grins evilly.

Dare pulls his cloak closely around him the hood low over his head.

Brie's eyes twinkle merrily and her veil glimmers sunshine-yellow.

Brie gets a slim figurine of twisted electrum wire from her pack.

Brie strikes the figurine against a flint, then watches as it begins to slowly glow red.

Brie tosses the figurine upwards and it vanishes, she gestures grandly as the image of a heron in flight appears to hover in the air.

Aldwyn whispers to you, 'I have something for you when we are done with hosting tonight.'

Brie waves her hand through the heron and it blurrs and disappears.

Brie tugs her earlobe, musing.

Brie says 'Such a sleepy crowd...'

Brie reaches behind her head and pulls a shimmery tube of bright turquoise from her pack.

Sybrina clambers to her feet.

Brie peels back one end of the tube, and swiftly blows into the top.

Brie winks and pulls a striker from sleeve, lighting it with a quick twist of her wrist.

Crenna looks at Aldwyn curiously and then back at Brie.

Sybrina cheers.

Brie drops the striker into the top of the tube and tosses it into the air.

Brie closes her eyes briefly as a giant cloud of blue-green smoke puffs out of the tube with a loud FWUMP.

Crenna looks on in wonder.

Brie sticks her fingers into her ears as a pack of twinkling cyan spheres shoot out of the tube and explode in a series of Bang BAng BANg BANG BANGS!!!

Sybrina claps her hands and smiles.

Brie's eyes gleam wickedly above her citrine-yellow veil.

Aldwyn explodes with whistles and cheers.

Carlia smiles happily.

Brie briefly makes eye contact as she scans the watchers.

Brie lights a striker and ignites all the rockets in one smooth motion. A faint thud sounds and she vanishes behind a cloud of smoke.

Brie slips through the smoke and picks up a toppled tube. She stares down the barrel and turns to the audience with a shrug.

Brie taps the top of the casing thoughtfully as she gazes upwards.

Brie's brows quirk in amusement as the sky lights up in whirling puffs of colour. The puffs collide with a deafening roar and explode in a mushroom of sparkles that rain down and vanish just out of your reach.

Dare whispers something to Carlia.

Aldwyn watches with interest, trying to catch everything he can see.

Brie pulls open the drawstring on an oilskin bag and retrieves a glittering bundle of carrot-hued rockets from within.

Brie twirls the rockets ostentatiously through her fingertips, talking silently to herself.

Brie's veil flashes to an orange colour so bright it rivals her rockets as she snickers softly.

Brie yells loudly and fires the rockets in rapid succession directly from her gloved hands! They scream into the sky in blazes of fiery autumn light.

Brie's eyes follow the rockets as they reach their apex and explode into radiating disks of flame, illuminating the smokey trails.

Sybrina gasps.

Crenna jumps a bit.

Brie shakes tangerine glitter from her gloves as the last licks of fire die out.

Brie lets out a loud whoop!
