Summary: Snatched Vhalerie up from White Bridge so Emily can learn more about the Wisdom Apprentice Vhalerie. Learned of her small town origins and how she wishes to make an occupation from what she knows and loves. Emily ate scones.

Emily says 'invite vhalerie'

Emily says 'Welcome, Vhalerie! It is nice to meet you!'

The Starling arrives at the docks.

Vhalerie says 'thank you! and you as well!'

Emily says 'I like to meet more organically, but since we'll be sitting in one spot, this is much more safe.'

Vhalerie says 'ah that is a good idea, its a locked door in here?'

Emily says 'Yes, this is the Wisdom Clan rooms.'

Vhalerie admires the craftsmanship.

Vhalerie says 'yup thats pretty good quality, cant see any trolloc busting that down'

Emily smiles warmly.

Emily says 'I know you've met with Racuel some, but why don't you start by telling me a little about yourself?'

Vhalerie says 'sure! I grew up in a small village in Murandy, I really enjoyed seeing the visitors and meeting new people'

Vhalerie says 'there was always something to do in a small town, and I got to follow my father around anytime anything of import happened so i got to be a part of all of it'

Emily smiles at the nostalgia of living in a small town.

Vhalerie says 'whether it was a barn raising, or a cow giving birth, pretty much if it happened with any of our people, our house was the first to know and I'd get to be involved'

Vhalerie smiles happily.

Vhalerie nods at Emily.

Emily says 'There are certainly advantages to small towns.'

Emily says 'Thanks for giving me your background.'

Vhalerie says 'as i got older though, I needed to find something I would spend the rest of my life doing, and I didnt really see myself just getting married and raising kids'

Vhalerie smiles happily.

Vhalerie nods in agreement.

Emily says 'Ah yes, not everyone has the hips for child-birth.'

Emily says 'And as a career you were thinking to become a Wisdom? To let you capitilize on what you liked about growing up in a small town?'

Emily says 'Since you've thought quite a bit about your future, what part of the world do you see yourself settling into?'

The Starling arrives at the docks.

Vhalerie says 'oh, I definately want to go back. and to help my town in ways that i havent been able to. Theres only so much that you can really do without training or I'd still be there now'

Vhalerie says 'its hard to watch someone get sick and die, knowing theres likely something that could be done, but not knowing how to remedy it and everyone who does is too far away to reach in time'

Vhalerie says 'it.... happened to a friend of mine'

Emily says 'I am sorry to hear of your loss. It can make you feel so hopeless.'

Emily scoots a plate of scones closer to Vhalerie.

Vhalerie nods at Emily.

Vhalerie picks up a scone and nibbles at it.

Emily says 'Enjoy the scone? I forgot who baked them, but there always seems to be a plate of them about.'

Vhalerie focuses back on the present. oh yes! thank you it, its very good

Emily says 'Have you had the chance to talk to any of the other Wisdoms, yet? Besides Racquel, of course.'

Vhalerie says 'but yes, so thats my plan, is to learn what I can so I can help my people better, I have spoken with Kashvi a couple of times, but we never really had the time to sit down and meet'

Emily says 'Yes, there always seem so much going on. The hustle and the bustle. Then the hustle again!'

Vhalerie says 'indeed! one blink and you are completely out of the loop'

Emily says 'What do you like to do in your spare time, young Vhalerie? Any personal goals you are focusing on? '

Emily says while gestering to the room around her, 'Other than the obvious, of course.'

Vhalerie says 'I do love to excercise, a good run in the morning does so much to clear my mind, and lift weights'

Vhalerie says 'that and exploring'

Vhalerie says 'id never gone too far from home before, and now that I am out, im finding it quite liberating'

Emily says 'That sounds like a very healthy life-style. I feel fitter just hearing about it.'

Vhalerie smiles happily.

Emily gingerly sets down a partially eaten scone.

Vhalerie says 'plus then i get to eat more scones'

Vhalerie grins evilly.

Vhalerie says 'this is really good!'

Emily smiles devilishly.

Emily says 'I've enjoyed our chat, but am going to have to keep it a short one tonight.'

Vhalerie smiles happily.

Vhalerie nods in agreement.

Vhalerie says 'thank you for taking the time to see me!'

Emily says 'As I've offered before, feel free to (forum) mail me to set up a time. I can usually be free 8pm or 9pm EST. You might have more luck than for our schedules to randomly align.'

Vhalerie smiles happily.

Emily says 'But before I let you venture back out into White Bridge, do you have any questions for me?'

Vhalerie says 'thanks! the semester is over so I will have more of a chance to take you up on that now'

Vhalerie says 'not at the moment no, thanks!'

Emily says 'I've had a really nice time chatting with you. Come follow me and I'll show you the way out.'

Vhalerie starts following Emily.

Emily says 'exit'

Jurien the Innkeeper produces a set of keys from somewhere beneath her apron.

Jurien the Innkeeper unlocks the woodendoor.

Vhalerie says 'I have as well thanks!'

A Quiet House
This is a neat and well arranged house set in the middle of the city. The
house is well furnished, and the room is centered on a large table. A
couch and several chairs surround the table. Bookshelves are stuffed
full with various tomes. The door lies to the south.
