A brief log, that I hoped might go further, taking place after Eldrenia, Ominas and Lisennet left us alone in the Tower Square. I hoped I would get a new apprentice, but no such luck.

Participant: Elghin.

Tower Square
This side of the square is the southern section of the Tower Square.
In the center is the walled off White Tower. To the south a large
boulevard opens up leading to the Southharbor. To the north you see
the southern gate of the Tower grounds. The square continues east
and west.
A large banner rests here, depicting a map of Tar Valon.
[ obvious exits: N E S W ]
A marble bench, flecked with gold and bronze, adorns the floor.
An oil lamp, set in a steel cage, hangs from a high wooden pole.
An elaborately sculpted marble fountain splashes merrily.
A stout wooden barrel stands nearby.
A smartly dressed man ambles about here.
A sailor is here.
Elghin the Wearied Novice is standing here.
The Tar Valon town crier stands here, spreading the news.

Eldrenia leaves south riding a warhorse.
Lisennet leaves south riding a warhorse.
Ominas leaves south.

You say 'Do you want to get off this island, Novice?'

You say 'I can get you away unseen.'

Elghin frowns.

Elghin says 'Had you asked me a month ago, I might have agreed.'

Elghin shakes her head.

You say 'There's a whole world out there, girl.'

Racquel gestures around.

You say 'So much to see, and do.'

You say 'What if you never become Aes Sedai?'

Racquel tilts her head.

You say 'If you leave now, they'll likely not miss you.'

You say 'I can get you past the guards. They'll never know.'

You say 'You'll find some new clothes. Maybe apprentice as a village wisdom somewhere.'

Elghin snorts. "Stay here in the Tower and potentially never see the shawl, or shame myself by abandoning a challenge."

You say 'You think being a Wisdom isn't a challenge?'

You say 'Aes Sedai has nothing on being a Wisdom, lass.'

You say 'Those woman pick just one attribute to define their identity.'

You say 'A Wisdom is all things all the time to her village.'

Elghin says 'A different challenge, maybe, but not the one set before me.'

You say 'A lesser challenge, but a challenge.'

nod
You nod in agreement.

Elghin inclines her head respectfully toward Racquel. "As you say, Wetlander," she says before dipping quietly back towards the Tower.

Elghin leaves north.
